forget it. This bunch has no fire in them. Liverpool on the other hand do. Their players actually run. They didn’t have a good start, but I watched them against Palace yesterday and for sure they will dominate us like they did yesterday even after going down to 10 men. I’m thinking of Diaz vs Dalot, poor Dalot… also, salah didn’t have a good game against palace, but i’m sure he’ll bounce back.

Wingbacks to stifle their fullbacks, McTominay to break things in the middle, Eriksen as the QB, Bruno as the excitable dog let off his leash after being tied up all day, or sub him out and bring in Ronaldo? Sancho as the one player who can dribble, Martial unavailable, maybe bring in Garnacho? Needs must.

McTominay is not a pivot, below, but a 6th defender ostensibly right above the center backs. He can't launch any attacks the way Fred might be able to, but he can break up play better and use his physicality. No one who can play on the left other than Sancho, why waste a starting berth on Rashford? Maguire can sit, I'm just too frustrated with him lately. Shaw sits.
We don't have any goal scoring threats, better hope for a lucky corner or a penalty. Garnacho and Sancho to clog their attacking lanes. Basically 6 defenders, 3 hapless midfielders, and Ronaldo.
