Shameful performance from a Unitd side at home!
No matter who the opposition is, we have to do better. Mou fecked up again and we got punished for hoping we will be fine at the back. Lukaku just rubbish today as a lot of others. Think noboday did a 'good' job today.

Meh, people will moan about the game and everything about it, but if Lukaku hadn't gifted them two goals we would've been fine. City didn't really create anything.

    He just missed a sitter.

Don't get me wrong, he does work for games we dominate and used to just draw blanks. He is not top bracket though and I'm afraid he never will be.

Hopefully corrects it and proves me wrong but he has had an absolute stinker here.
I'm not saying it was a great shot but I don't think it was awful. He just happened to hit it straight at Ederson's throat. I think if it was De Gea saving that, we'd be lauding the goalkeeping, not bemoaning the striker's shot.

That said, you're right because he has been pretty ineffective lately, especially today. I don't think we're getting the best out of him and I think we should address it because it's becoming an issue. We've been asking him to do some defensive work and even playing him on the wing at points. Somebody said it in a recent match but you can't expect a player of his height, weight and build to chase the ball for 90 minutes and still score goals. He's not that type of player.

Yes his clearance for Otamendi's goal was iffy but I also think City have been very good at doubling up against our defenders. Our wing play hasn't been very creative and we've struggled to get balls into the box in general. We basically scored from a stupid mistake on their part.

And, not that it's really important, but Zlatan wasn't effective either. Our attack all-round was crap.

errr ref wasn't as bad as ppl make out. Bit childish IMO.
We were outplayed and outclassed in literally every single department, sadly. :(

Another Mourinho-special. Let's not try to win against the big clubs...and yet again he got his way

We fighted alright, but tactically just terrible from Mourinho. Pep 10-0 tactically there is no argument about that. He was a bit more pragmatic today in a much better way than Mourinho too. feck of Oliver as well. Always a cnut and helping City as well.

They wasted time towards the end of the game, it's not as if they weren't putting massive pressure throughout the game before then.

I am afraid i have to agree with those saying Lukaku is fecking wank.

Hes cost us that game with his blundering incompetence and lazy play.

He needs to benched for two young lads through the middle untill he gets his shit together.

Pretty embarrassing by both sides. We were just bad, offer nothing going forward without pogba as usual and they were no where near the team they're built up to be, arsenal had more about them and that's saying something. Oh Well, always knew they'd have a few years of superiority while we've still got such an average team.

People here praising city, I must have been watching a different game, they barely created any chances considering their massive possession and when they did they basically passed to de gea, and they were really shaky under any pressure. They'll get thrashed playing like that against any of the true top sides.

we caught them on and off day and still let then win. one thing I know for certain, they aren't the best ever PL side and won't win the Champions League. lukaku is the fecking joke I thought he was. had me doubting it early in season but he's just a huge donkey

The first 40 minutes was pathetic from us. You could see lumping it was pointless. We gifted them the winner and Lukaku should score.

City are a good team but they aren’t worthy of the media jizz-fest. They will struggle the next few weeks.

I wouldn’t mind, but City aren’t even very good.. got very lucky today and two fluke goals due to our mistakes beat us.

    Technical Difficulties...
City aren't noisy neighbours, they are the top dog and lets be honest have been for some time, certainly over us. We've had some rubbish times since SAF left with Moyes and Van Gaal but since the oil money they've had our number at times. We've never avenged that 6-1 on our own pitch and they've just gave us a beating today at Old Trafford, its still early days, I'll not get over excited like some on here or SKy are but its not a good day.

Poor attempt at a clearance from Lukaku. Dire actually. Winning the league was a stretch this season. I think we need 3/4 players of quality. We have heart but no brains when composure counts. I won't give city any respect or admiration. I think second half other then a poor goal we gave away, they weren't all that. We lacked real quality and leadership. Pogba was a big miss today obviously.

they couldn't even punish us when we threw everything forward. in fact, Bravo made as many vital saves as DDG, may be more

The best team won. I wouldn't blame Lukaku. He was unlucky today.
