Kompanys tackle could have been yellow or red, I think the unbiased observer would probably be happier with a yellow.

We look good going forward but so do City. Valencia, Jones and Blind all worry me at the back.

I don't know what it is with us but as soon as that Aguero stat came up, you just knew he'd score against us and he did in minutes.
Why are we so predictable like that?

 From Neville. "Aguero, Silva, and Navas just jogging back there." Don't know why I found that funny. Hey, it's the Derby.

We have been fantastic after we woke up. No excuses for that start it should not happen in games like this but the way we reacted and dominated the game for the last 30 minutes was fantastic.

As long as we start the second half sensibly, we got this.

We were overrun in the first 10 minutes, but since LVG brought Mata more inside we've had far more control of the game.

    Very entertaining game so far.

    EDIT: Kompany is a thug.

Started off looking dicey but we kept our composure and City's legs already look gone. Some of the play from Herrera, Young, Fellaini and Blind has been superb for us.

Still not sold on our defensive pairing though, there have been some good moments but the distribution is woeful.

Valencia's defending against Aguero was phenomenal, I was sure he'd get it across to Silva

If only Rooney would of spotted Fellaini behind him on the break there, He was open. Oh well. This is our game to lose. They are on the verge of having someone sent on and we are on top after a shocking first 10 minutes.

We were the better side after the first 10 minutes, they don't look good and Kompany should be off. I'll be disappointed if we don't win this now

City are really dangerous on the break. We've got away with it most the time thanks to some solid defending by usually our last man. Need to be more clinical

First 10 minutes were awful, great after that. Hopefully we keep this up, they're there for the taking
DO you think potentially we were still considering they would line up 4-4-2 in the days ahead and it perhaps caught us out a bit? We started so slowly compared to the Liverpool game, whereas I thought we'd just employ the same strategy

@Amar__ Where are you mate? What's the verdict? Embarrassing performance from both teams but at least we have "excuse" because we are leading?

I would like us to see a bit more control on Toure who seems to be their most dangerous player. Other than that I am very happy with what I am seeing (and that includes Rooney keeping several defenders very busy)

Don't feel too aggrieved about it only being yellow. It was high and studs up, but only one foot and I think it looked worse than it was. Could well have been red, of course, but meh.

Good half as I read, havent watch the whole of it. Our backline is too far up the pitch, City is still dangerous although we got back into the game after 1st 10 minutes. We need to score the 3rd to kill them off.

Hopefully we'll shaw Shaw and Di Maria feature today, Blind has been dodgy defensively today.

Once we realised you have to move to defend, we've been good.

Carrick and Herrera controlling it now. Would like to see Fellaini and Rooney get into Kompany now. Mata needs to try get into Clichy too.

Some great football from us. Valencia finally able to cross the ball. And Ashley Young, what a turnaround to his season. Fellaini is bullying everyone.
