Bruno and Pogba sloppy in the final third.

    Could go either way.

We really should be playing better. Their defence is there to go at and we're letting them off. Shaky moments at the back but you get that against City. Hopefully our bench is stronger; they have Aguero and Jesus but can't be 100% fit or one would be starting.

They must’ve got in behind Shaw about twenty times. Either Shaw needs to stop tucking in or Pogba or a midfielder needs to start filling in. It will cost us. Bruno the worst on the pitch so far.
Last game was the same thing and we got away with luck. Coaching staff must have vision problems.

Why do pro footballers spit so much? I play football and I can safely say that I don't do that, nor do I really see anyone else doing it around me.

Tense game, really not a lot between the two sides these days which in itself is a sign of our progress (or their regression if you want to be a glass half empty type)

Better than the last Game when we met. City are more dominant, but, I expect us to be more clinical and punish city from a mistake or counter. Hard to call the game as if city keeps this up, they may score If they are clinical. I feel they will benefit more from having aguero on the pitch than Mahrez.

Decent half I thought, Rashy should have done better when it was chipped in and if not for Bruno’s poor pass at the end he could have been in.

Cracking strike from KDB against the post.

Two evenly matched sides it looks to me.

feck me, is this Reddit or something? Change your name you clown
What a weird response to mention my username. You still in the playground? Too many stripes on your trainer, pal.

Why would I change my username?

Bruno so needlessly wasteful on three or four occasions there. Maguire having a great game so far.

If we can wake the feck up with our final ball there are goals here for us.

    Bruno having a stinker unfortunately.
To be fair he often does when he’s not scoring or assisting. That’s what makes him such a good player he’s constantly trying things and his output is very good. Sometimes though he needs to keep it simple and not rush things, which is surely something that will come over time.

We've ok. Solid enough at the back and progressing the ball nicely through the thirds. Credit in particular to Fred, McTominay and Shaw, while Bruno, Pogba and particularly Rashford have been very wasteful at key moments in a way we'll rue if we're beaten or taken to penalties later.

Not the best half, can see how good this city side is when they want to be.

They always turn it on at old Trafford i swear

Started off promisingly enough, end-to-end action and all that but then it has degenerated into the same sloppy awful mess that the league game was.

On our part it doesn't help that both Pogba and Bruno - nice shot aside - are playing terribly. But it's also plain to see that City are not the force they were a couple of years ago. Still far superior on the ball to pretty much every team but just seems to lack that bite.

Way too sloppy on the ball, they've been sharp but we've had plenty of space to do a lot more with our chances. Bruno sloppy, rushing things. Pogba sloppy touch. Martial alright but quiet, Rashford been good. Shaws also been good. Wan bissaka doing nothing against Foden.

Feel lucky that we aren't behind, even though they have created loads, but more just because of the space we've given them and some individual badp
    performances.

Rashford needs to up he’s closing down game
yeah good luck with that as its like he is scare to put in a bloody tackle and yeah he waves him arms at people to tackle, wont stay in position and leaving us short on the right side, either put he back on the left or take him off as its like playing with 10 unless it suits his ass to put in the effort

Best half I've seen from us all season. We're up against a city team firing on all cylinders. We're holding are own matching them, every player looking sharp and we're looking dangerous on the attack and composed at the back. Credit to all our players so far today!

You play it at that tempo, regular sized pitch for 90+ minutes twice a week :D

Pretty much everyone besides our centre backs have been underpar. We look so disjointed going forwards, not helped that none of our players can seemingly control a ball.

I actually think we're pretty comfortable since that opening salvo. We're just as dangerous. We've wasted a few great positions, Bruno uncharacteristically poor in those areas so far. I feel pretty good about the whole thing.

Poor in the final third. Midfield look decent and we have defended well.
City have adapted to stop our counters, but we still should hurt them more.

Pogba better than Bruno in that half.
Great running by Rashford, ball needs to be released sooner.
McT doing his job well, would like Fred to get on the ball more, been very quiet.
Shaw also having a decent game.

Fine to let them have the ball and then attack when we get the ball but, bloody hell, the few times we do the ball, surely we can do better than just giving it straight back. Bruno with that stupid pass at the end and then Shaw can't make a simple pass without hitting one of their players.

A bit more care with the ball is called for in the second half.

That's like a win win for the punter. Stick a ton on each one to win and you've spent two hundred quid.....City win you get £199 back and you're virtually even, United win and you double your money. Job's a goodun!
You sure that is not based on result over 90mins?

That was an excellent first 30 minutes. Intense, quality football. Utd kept shape well, very good playing out from the back. But we crumpled a bit after that Sterling break that Shaw miraculously cleared up.

can't believe the Bruno critique here, come on! Pogba good too, IMO.
