This squad is beyond repair with the current coaching staff. If the board are going to stick with Ole, they at least need to hire better coaches. Tell Ole, it’s you or the coaches, or both.

DId Shaw not get a call from DDG - doesn't look like it and that's why I think the defence is steadier with Hendo in goal

If not for De Gea, we would've been 4 or 5 down.
WE might not be conceding so many chances if he weren't so complacent in the first place. Yes Shaw and Maguire are shite but that's still no excuse. Dave makes us panic at the back. He's been like this for ages

AWB jogs out to block the cross and Shaw just lets the ball go. It is shite defending, blaming DDG is masking the actual problem

Dont understand why people are upset here, look at the team sheet. How many of our players can get into city team?

That is your answer and on top of that coward manager with out any proper coaching staff, I am not suprised to be honest

ruined my weekend, frustrating to be honest...
The talent is definitely there in the squad to go toe to toe with City. We just have a coaching staff that doesn't have a clue on how to use it. Palace took the game to them at the Emptihad and ended up winning - do they have better players than us?

    Feck off it is.

Shaw leaves it because he rightly thinks it's for DDG to claim it. If he doesn't get a shout yes, he should be booting it away

But that is the keepers ball all day long, he should be shouting at Shaw and claiming it. No doubt about it.
There was a shout. You could hear it from the TV. De gea shouted "away" and Shaw let it run

I have long stopped blaming players for individual mistakes. They don't happen with this frequency by chance. Players will make mistakes when they are playing under pressure and don't know what to do.

Playing all season with a back 4, then changing to a back 3 with a week's notice before playing the best team in the league/world will do that. Not one of our players looks like they know where to be on the pitch.
Bullshit ffs. That's basic defending for supposedly pro footballer's. Ole isnt the man for us but over these last few weeks them two wankers shaw and maguire have been useless, pathetic. Absolutely shower of useless cnuts

Shaw’s been atrocious all season — didn't we sign a £20m LB as a second choice/rotational option? The manager’s reluctance to move away from his preferred XI has cost us so much for a long time.
Players come in and out of form, that’s why you have a squad. Ole just does the same things every game even if it’s not working.

Did anyone expect anything else. Poor , International break, coming up barring a disaster after the 2 Ronnie's show in Itay should progress in CL.

The board now has to sack him , has to, there is still time to rescue the season. 45mins to see if we can just stop the rot.
I'd take anyone now with more experience and some bite.

If these United players aren't tearing strips out of each other in the changing I'll not understand it. The defending has been amateurish.

If you looked carefully there was steam coming out Roy Keane's ears. Id have him every day of the week as United manager before Ole. And that isnt saying much.

De Gea is unlucky there but what can he do from such a short distance. Was a great cross by Cancelo that had all defenders shit scared to score an own goal. That’s the only reason I can think of why they’d let that ball get through. It’s hit with such spin and precision, you just know the runners might be able to get to it. Gutless defending there, scares of an own goal.

Give Keane 10 minutes in the dressing room, preferably with a bike chain as his weapon choice.

You have to hand it to Pep.

He gets De Bruyne, Bernardo, Foden, Jesus and co to press, harass, and run like demons. Look how they stop every counter-attack we have. Just the absolute numbers! Walker dropping into DM, or Cancelo, and it just cuts the counter right at the half-way line.

    There's levels to this thing.

Oh, Ole. Please board, do the right thing.
You have a system, style if play and a manager that knows what he's doing.

Why keep playing Fred is not understandable. He cannot reach his tackles and is not strong enough.
Why not try someone more energetic palyer like Van De Beek or Dalot in midfield. leave Bruno upfront with Ronaldo if United wants to play defensive. United need worker and harasser and tough tackler. None can be found. Greenwood is not effective upfront or tackling back. Should take him off.

Issue is not about who is playing or who is making mistake. You can see the team isn't functioning like a team. Being walked all over.

    There's only one United!
Liverpool took pity on us. I dont know about city
No way did Liverpoo take pity on us - if they could they would have scored 10.
Do you think we would have stopped?
    No way.

Ole has to go, Ole has to take a CB off and bring Rashford on which he probably won’t do. Let’s not pretend he knows how to fix this. OLE OUT!

I mean what the feck is this shit!?

First 23 min, we barely touched the ball, setup like we are Sunday league team in FA cup vs top one. Then we had a chance and after that, they with few chances with VL OG attempt on top of it, at the end they scored 2nd.

Utter domination, one side playing football, other side have no idea what football is. Wussy with few saves spared us being 4 down at HT.

How the feck is this acceptable and how the feck people have a cheek to say that Ole has no hand in this, how fecking deluded can you be.

It is so easy for them. They just keep switching the ball from side to side and we are too slow to get across and cover, this rope a dope doesn't work against a possession based team like City.

We are like sitting ducks here, and there is no outlet without Cavani to hold the ball up.

Cannot see any come back here. We don't have enough players further up the park. They are all on the bench.

They are just toying with us. Could be another five nil here.

If Ole comes out with the same line up. Someone should be emailing that he can pack his bag and leave Utd straight after the game. Pathetic and cowardly performance. Beaten by Liverpool and City so badly, total domination that tear every players confidence to pieces. Top tier club with a 3 tier manager, how can that be possible.....
