Spurs couldn't have hoped for a better time to play Utd at OT. Down after losing at home to Arsenal and on a run of unconvincing form, Spurs will I guess, fancy their chances.

I must admit, I find the form of Utd somewhat puzzling. Blessed with top players like Rooney, DDG, Di Maria, Falcao, and Mata there seems to be a barely credible new found fragility to their play

I find that difficult to believe after disposing of Moyes after less than1 season. You have to give him a chance, I'd have thought.
Yet when we play other teams off the back of a loss they are described as being dangerous and hungry. Not to mention our unconvincing form consisting of 7 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses in our last 11 games? Or if we are talking home form, we have had 12 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses all season.

I think I must be one of the very few on here that's actaully optimistic about Sunday. I was actually quite encouraged by the Arsenal game. Individual idiotic mistakes aside from Valencia, Di Maria and Januzaj, I thought as a team we played a lot better than in recent weeks, especially the first half.
Spurs ain't all that, set up as we did on Monday but with Januzaj replacing Di Maria and I reckon we will be ok. 2-0 united.

By unconvincing form, I point to the fact that in the last 6 games against top half table teams, Utd have lost 3 and drawn 3.

I agree. Im quite confident of winning on Sunday. Our first half against Arsenal was probably some of the best football we have played all season. Thats not saying much because we have been shocking all season but our performance other than the mistakes against Arsenal was an improvement on recent weeks.

Louis van Gaal ended the Arsenal hoodoo by losing, time for him to end one by winning.

We haven't beaten Spurs in five games, and lost the last two at home.

Another feckin' game that doesn't start at 3pm on a Saturday.
I honestly can't remember the last time one did.
I won't be able to watch this one either.
Feck the feckin FA and Sky, etc.

Yes, feck them, not giving us one since we had back to back ones as far back as 2-3 weeks ago

Quick question - Why do we never raise our game? I'll like us to raise our game for once and batter these lot.

Have to win this as we'll most likely lose at Anfield and Stamford Bridge, then we'll have to win all our remaining games. 77 points should be enough.

Physioroom have Rojo and Young down as injured now (both with 'knocks') but with possible returns on 15th March. Rvp out till April 4. Hmm.

"All they can talk about is Manchester United."
I'm guessing we'll go with the same lineup as Sunday, except with Adnan on the right instead of Di Maria and Carrick in for Herrera. Fellaini up with Rooney again. Just hope we replicate the Sunday first half performance not the second half. If we do, I'm going 2-0

It was Monday, and Carrick wasn't on when we got that performance, him and Blind helped provide the second half performance.

I think we will draw them 1-1.
But with the form Kane is in we might lose the game,he will have a field day against our defence.
Hope Fellaini is on the bench and that Mata finally get a start again.

In the last 4 games Clattenburg has been referee involving Man Utd...He's given 3 red cards to Man Utd players and given 6 penalties against us.......Spurs will be playing with 12 men

Where is wilson there days ? Injured ? I really want him to be given a shot up front, someone to stretch there defence and create space, Rooney just doesn't have the pace he used too

    DDG

    Rafael Smalling Rojo Shaw

    Carrick Blind
    Mata
    Rooney Januzaj
    Wilson
I feel uncomfortable having Rooney on the wing but he is undroppable right now and feel he could do better there than Mata and Mata better in the hole.

I really hope Mata starts today. He was one of the bright spots in the reverse fixture and looked like the only player that was going to make something against a spurs side which just couldn't handle him.

He'd probably be too knackered for tomorrow... ;)

Christ I just watched back the 5-2 game from 2009 when we were 2-0 down. Attacking 4 of Ronaldo, Rooney, Berba and Tevez and a stunning comeback. Was like reading texts back from the one that got away...

Need to beat these, would be a massive boost all round and instil some confidence back!

I have a bad feeling about this, and it's not just because of the Arse result. I reckon it's going to be one of those toothless performances, and we'll lose 0-1 or something horrible like that.

Home game tends to mean home win.

Of course someone will come along and twist some stat to show how our home form is actually a trick of the mind. Weve been rubbish, every minute of every game after all. Spurs like every otherside on earth have been breathtaking.

    Something like that anyway.
