Thank fecking god we have a week to prepare. We’ll need a cushion going into that Chelsea game, as it’s the kind of game where we usually play the fixture, rather than the opponent.

Wish garnacho was able to start. Would go him and Antony wide with rash up top, Bruno behind them with case and Eriksen midfield. Shit even if he's only good for a half I'd start that way anyways

Sucks that DDG cannot be dropped at this late stage. But need pace on the wings. We might get it via Garnacho while Antony strolls on the right and passes it back without taking the left back on.

Rode luck massively against Fulham in FA Cup and Villa last Sunday. I fear a Southampton like result is coming here.

Full week of rest finally after 7 months without one. If we play like shit again there is no excuse.
One week of rest isn't enough to fix about 6 months of being overplayed.

We won't be playing well again until after a long summer break, but hopefully we have enough in the tank to take the win.

Will go in and totally write us off in the hope a bit of reverse psychology wakes them up for this

No confidence in the manager or players right now. We might win but we'll make it as difficult for ourselves as possible

I doubt we'll score. Neves to dominate midfield.

We will make it hard with 1:0 win from some Rashy/Fernandes individual action. Knowing our 'luck' everything can go into shit pretty quickly though, so I hope OT will give us enough support to create enough chances in the first half to kill the game early..

On paper we couldn’t get a better fixture. They’re now safe and will be happy to finish about 14th. Simply no excuse to not blitz these back at Old Trafford

I think Varane will be back for this. We need his leadership at the back.

We aren’t blitzing anyone. Happily take a 1-0

If Varane isn’t fit then I think I’d bring Maguire in and put Shaw back at left back.

Our attacking play goes up a level with shaw at left back.

1-1 draw. They will be buoyed by win and safety. We will be brittle, wasteful, bottlers so a draw written all over it.

Home or not this team is shitting bricks. Liverpool will get 4th on GD and then we’ll get royally dicked in FA cup final. I’m convinced.

I don't think people are getting it when they say "we should beat this team at home, we should beat that team at home".

The problem is, no matter who we play now, no matter how mediocre or indeed shit they are, they can all smell blood when they play us. They can smell the vulnerability, they can smell the fear.

So I expect this utterly mediocre Wolves team to come to OT next Saturday and be confident of getting a result. We need to start the game 100 miles an hour, blitz Wolves in the first half, and show them early there's nothing in this game for them.

If we start slowly-slowly, snail pace build up play, it'll only allow Wolves a foothold in the game and make it a very long afternoon for us.

Got offered a ticket for this game but declined it. Even with it not being on tv, I think I’ll still give it a miss.

This team look like they have completely packed it in. The league cup win seems like it was enough of a highlight for these players so they can just Jack in the rest of the season as if it doesn’t mean anything.
They just look quite exhausted, and they know Antony is selfish and Weghorst they just won’t play to.

they’ve played more games than any other team across the top five leagues. The are all off the pace. Don't think they are content at at all.
It’s at Old Trafford. Six days rest. Three points.
    Amen.
If Varane isn’t fit then I think I’d bring Maguire in and put Shaw back at left back.

Our attacking play goes up a level with shaw at left back.
And our defense goes down a notch when we don’t have Martinez or varane, and then down another notch without both, then it goes to Shaw and Lindelof and goes down another notch when maguire is in. I'd prefer the stability in the center.

Marital got into some great positions today, lets hope he can. If not for me take him off and place Garnacho up the center. His speed would be devastating up the center.

We'll get back on track with a win here. West Ham away was always gonna be tough tbh. We lost thanks to de Gea, but loss or draw isn't much of a difference. Was always looking at the last 4 to get our 3 wins from. Still annoying that we actually let it get to this, but we should still be fine.

Having a week off finally is a very big deal. Expect to see a much better and sharper performance. Also - I really want Shaw back at left back just for these easier league games where we should be able to make do. We're desperately lacking his creativity and delivery at fullback, someone who can actually run with the ball. He's class at LCB, but given the others in our team and being low on confidence, we end up just missing him at LB probably more than the perks he provides from LCB. Means Maguire in... But whatever we should be fine.

    Dalot Maguire Lindelof Shaw
    Casemiro Eriksen
    Antony Bruno Rashford

Let’s keep a level head. We’re playing a team who keep losing away from home. Our home form has been pretty good. Win this and we’re 4 points clear with 3 games to play, in a great position. We have a week to prepare - just win!
The same things were said vs West Ham and our away form against bottom teams.

We play crap football over a long period of time, after a while, the results will follow which they have been doing the last two months.

    Ok then.

    We'll lose 0-4.
