    Great to be back!

Shouldn’t underestimate Wolves, but there is potential for us to exploit their turmoil in pre-season.

I want the mistakes tidied up from the Lens game and to show more of a ruthless streak in front of goal.

I personally think we will opt for Garnacho starting off the left as opposed to Sancho down the middle with Rashford off the left.

I think/hope this game is going to go the way the Gooners are all over Forrest right now. If Wolves do sit back then we will need all our defence to contribute. Martinez to join on attacks and full backs to be very attacking. All about getting that 1st goal... can't wait.

We really need to pump these, they are a team in a complete mess.

We need a good 4-0 or something.

All our rivals doing the business so far and getting the 3 pts in the bag , anything other than 3 pts for us will be pts and ground lost already.

Every top 4 candidate has deliver we have to start strong. Anything but a convincing win or momentum will turn quickly. We need to keep up the pace.

Wolverhampton on a Monday evening. A rather dreary start to the new season, isn’t? At least it’s at home, and I'd take these over someone like Brighton. Should be a better start this time around. Wolves are bogey, but they are one of the teams I expect to get relegated this season, so we should be able to get by.

    1:0.

Want to see lots of pace, aggression and intent from the start. None of the slowly- slowly, steady-as-she-goes football we saw too much of last season, which only allowed inferior teams gain a foothold in games against us.

Time to hit the ground running.
Arsenal, City, Newcastle all off to fliers. Hopefully a better start for us than last year !

    Onana
    Dalot Varane Martinez Shaw
    Bruno Casemiro Mount
    Antony Sancho Rashford
Against a team likely to sit deep and soak in pressure, you need to go with a team capable of quick intricate play in tight spaces. I can see ETH going with the above.

This one is difficult to predict as we have no form guide.
It's a home game and our home record was excellent last season.
So, I'll go for a narrow win for MUFC.
    2-1 MUFC.

Only positions up for debate are Dalot/AWB and Garnacho/Sancho. The other nine players pick themselves.

A win will do, more continuity with this bunch not like last season, I'm hoping for a more balanced season within games, last season was wow for 4 to 5 games then they hit a brick wall in some games, especially away.

Wolves at Home a solid performance and a 2-0 win... I even think Mount could well score on his Premier league Home Debut.. Onana frightens the crap out of me, and the defenders need to get used to his High line... that's another season of being a UTD follower ..... heart pumping moments

Yes, if they’re fit. That tells you the squad lacks depth. There’s no-one waiting to pounce if any of those nine guys have a poor game. Decent XI if they play to their best ability,

Really hoping for a convincing win tomorrow. This is the worst Wolves team that's been in the PL since they got promoted and I'd expect them to be at major risk of relegation this season, so I want to see that clear difference in quality show.

Every away PL team has scored this weekend, for those who like omens.
Has there been an entertaining United vs Wolves match in like the last 4 years?
I just have this engrained sense of impending boredom hearing the name Wolves. I’m sure everytime we play them it’s a snore fest.

Be nice if we could not just win, but win comprehensively. This lot give us constant trouble; even when we win it's a struggle and by a single goal.

Based on pre-season, Rashford aside we still can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo so let's hope we can create loads of chances. I have a feeling Mount will have a stormer (I've done it now)

Ridiculous to start looking ahead to the next few games...but EtH has Spurs Away and Arsenal Away in the first 4 games.

So United really need to get rid of any cobwebs tomorrow at Old Trafford. Full on attack!

I think people are writing off Wolves a little too easily! They invested heavily in some very highly rated and talented young Portuguese players over the past couple of years and could raise their levels under a new boss!
However, I still expect we’ll be too good and ultimately take home the three points

    Let's start this season strong.
    3 - 0
    Bruno 2x, Rashford
2 assists for Mount to start his United's career.

Come on lads, need a strong start here. First things get the 3 points, but would be nice to get a comfortable win with a nice start to goal differential.

    Let’s go!!!

We’re joint last in the league so it’s important we pick up the three points.

Bruno rarely get into the box these days. It'll be one for Rashford, one for Garnacho then we bring that lad Hojlund in and he gets one too. Would be lovely :D

Think it will be a tough game for us. Wolves are a decent side on paper, have some dangerous players (Cunha, Neto, Sarabia, Nunes) and i believe we are not in great form anyway (not that pre season matters much). I hope for a win, but it will be tight game, like usual against them. Predicted 2-1 win for us, but can see a draw as well.

They had an awful transfer window , a new manager a few days ago , it all points to a easy win for us
Which is precisely why there's a hint of nervousness about this game. We dropped points every time someone changed their manager right before they play us.
