Players can't trap or pass the easy ball. I'm not sure how pros can be this bad. I don't think it's the player anymore.

Why can’t our midfield make passes? Everything is so scruffy and off target it’s painful. Pereira, McT and Fred are all as bad was each other.

Maguire should immediately be made our captain, he is totally our best player right now.

This is so predictable, exactly the same brand of toothless crap we’ve been watching for months.

Our players aren’t good enough and not is our manager. For those thinking a relegation scrap is out of the question think again, I’m not saying it is likely but not impossible on current form. We don’t even look like scoring.

Yeah, if only Ole had the power to pick who plays!
Have you seen anything to suggest that the boys on the bench are going to show more responsibility? I haven't.

Our problem was always going to be lack of midfielders. I like Slabhead, but we should have invested that 80 mil into midfield imho.

Ashley Young with his floating corners.

Rashford standing on the edge of the box while Dalot whips one of the few crosses.

    Ole out.

The first half sums up our current situation perfectly ... about even with a terrible Newcastle side.

Relax guys, we need another 2 billion for our manager to work his magic and make top 4.

At least we changed corner routine. Maguire now attacking the ball in 6yard box and not waiting on those float crosses

Glad to see some worms turning on this form regarding Rashford's actual talent level.

We may as well be playing without a striker most games. But we can't even provide for him either. As someone above posted, if you cannot score goals you are in trouble and we cannot buy a goal. We need to be severely worried.

I mean we’ve not had a right winger since Nani left. It’s not that hard to address certain problems.

    Kanchelskis
    Sharpe
    Beckham
    Ronaldo
    Nani

Who have we got now? We are such a bad team now.

Dreadful. What the feck do we do in training? There’s no evidence of a move, a set play or any training ground routine. Slow, laboured, shaky, sideways shite. Some of our players first touch is horrendous.

Tuanzebe has done ok and Young’s corner was the only positive.
Bear in mind we are missing Pogba, Martial, Shaw, AWB and Greenwood.

Are we too depleted injury wise to play with two up top?
I think so. James is deployed as a forward who has to track back. Without martial as a third ,we are a bit toothless.
A lot of effort and good tracking but very little creativity

Fred a 3? I do not think i will ever be gunning for his start again. What a terrible player and he cost 50m.

Not winning games through quality is an issue but this is honestly about the coaching at this point.

We see it week after week, there is absolutely no sign that this part of any process. The team look clueless, our No. 10 doesn’t play forward passes; our striker is devoid of any supply. Our RW is a CM. It goes on. . .

Granted we have been beyond shite, but how many sitters are we going to miss? Maguire scores that one 99/100 times, and he of course fecking misses

    Rashford needs to be subbed.
Not a lot, we don't really have enough shots to be missing loads of sitters

Agree with that. I think Rashford is probably injured which explains why he’s not running or pressing as much as he should. Unclear what Ole can do better here, bench is thin and I’d rather have the first XI out there than anyone that’s currently on the bench.

Very bad performance. Embarrassing stuff. We look like a bottom half team, the way we just about string together a couple of passes. I mean, you can't polish a turd, but given that they're on some otherworldly contracts, surely they should be able to control and make simple passes? How we've fallen.

I like Tuanzebe / Maguire combo. They are both assured in air and decent with the feet.
Yes. Think Harry and Axel make a better partnership. However, still early days.

Decent half, but yet again it is very clear that our midfielders are some of the leagues worst. Poor Rashford and James. Can run as much as they want, they will never get delivery from those fools in our midfield.
I think you're letting Rashford off easily. Cross near post he should have been near, another good cross from Dalot he wasn't in the box, he's not putting himself in positions where chances arrive, there were chances to be had. He needs to do more, he needs to put himself in positions to make something happen.

Looking at our bench and can’t see any saviors. I’d bring Greenwood on just for something different. I’d bring on Matic and Rojo for Fred and Young because they can’t be any worse.
