Mata pulling out of tackles and headers he should be winning. Meant to be United one attacking midfielder and he's passing it back wards mostly. When will the penny drop that Pereira as a right winder is a waste of time? Any decent team won't play two CDMs against Newcastle but thats the problem Man United aren't even decent anymore.

Why can’t our midfield make passes? Everything is so scruffy and off target it’s painful. Pereira, McT and Fred are all as bad was each other.

Maguire should immediately be made our captain, he is totally our best player right now.

This is so predictable, exactly the same brand of toothless crap we’ve been watching for months.

Our players aren’t good enough and not is our manager. For those thinking a relegation scrap is out of the question think again, I’m not saying it is likely but not impossible on current form. We don’t even look like scoring.
No width, nobody stretching the pitch.

our midfield is about 5 yards away from each other so the weight of pass is always wrong. Too hard or too soft, not enough time to react and control it.

    spread everybody out a bit.

It seems we are struggling with a mix of possession and long ball, it just doesn’t look good.

the fact is, every team misses sitters, but better teams create more to cover for that while teams like us just sit and use that as an excuse for the team and the manager
Fair point. We have been on the low end of taking chances so far this season, which isn't only made worse by the fact that we don't create many... shouldn't be ignored.

    Mistakes from today’s game:
    1). Fred Playing
    2) Ashley Young taking corner kicks and set plays.
4). Rashford is not a striker, should be RW.
    5). Where is Greenwood?

If Ole doesn't bring on Gomes and Greenwood on for Pereira and Mata... He's gonna lose us another game and get himself sacked. Deservedly so.

Can someone hand Young a note telling him he's allowed to pass the ball to someone other than Maguire.

Pogba, Martial, AWB, Lindelöf all injured. Marcus Rashford completely out of form.

Dont worry guys, this squad is healthy and would be so much better with a different guy picking the team.

Well done Jamie Redknapp. Finally calling rashford out. His movement is non existent.

Conclusion, one of worst Utd team ever. I just see alot of backpacks from Ashley back to Maguire. If don't know what Fred and Tom bring to the game, we might as well play with 5 defenders. Ole put Pereira on the right where is he is most ineffective which I don't know why. Who is Rushford? England international striker, Man Utd striker. Doesn't make any sense, how can this boy be an international and Utd striker? Anyway, Ole will be pleased with the result. He probably if Maguire headed in the goal, we would have won. I reach a stage where I think Ole is delusional. If result comes our way, he would probably say that we are sitting pretty in 2nd place on the table. Best PR manager of all time. Great appointment by Ed and Glazers.

Didn't Tuanzebe put that Newcastle forward onside? Then he's just jogging back, while Maguire was busting his ass out to block the shot?

Not much of anything has happened if we're being honest. The Maguire header is the standout moment and tbf he probably will be kicking himself for missing that. People may put the blame at his feet if we fail to win this, but it's damning our only chance had fallen to a defender.

The first half sums up our current situation perfectly ... about even with a terrible Newcastle side.
No shots on goal, again, correct... unless I misssed one. That's three period's (halves) of football, and Manchester United are unable to produce one shot on goal.

And that has nothing to do with previous managers, or the Board.

Where is the intensity Ole talked about in pre season? We're about as intense as a nice warm candle lit bath.
It was rhetoric to get people excited to watch us this season.
It's like when an actor is giving interviews for his new movie. He tells everyone that this is the best movie he has ever starred in and that everyone should watch it.

Called him out at the start too. Jones said he's only 21 and Redknapp said he has played enough and has been poor

they are raving about longstaff's strike but it was never going in... some hot bar and could be going in, his was always rising. meanwhile, I need a stiff drink and I barely drink any more
if he had struck it from a yard or so further back, it was going in to be honest.

Yeah, but people don't see that because Axel is the new favourite. Awful awful defending from him.

I'd combine McTominay, Fred and Pereira into one player then fire him out of a cannon into the sun.

Don’t get why Ole sets up and plays like this. Crab like and slow, ever so slow.

If he trusts is payers let them go - if not put Matic on as CF and play like Wimbledon.

Nothing. Just will cont the narrative of xPts being higher reflecting bad luck when in reality we are very poor.
High xpts vs reality reflects that we give away few chances and that we aren't clinical with our own relative to other teams. I don't think it contradicts the idea that we are poor at creating chances.
