Bailly off, Rojo to LCB - Smalling to RCB.

Carrick for Mata, Lingard to the flank to track their runners.

Rojo has an assist and made some good headed clearances but my word, he's shocking in every other department. Not sure what to make of his game today. Mourinho should've bought a proper LB in January if he wasn't going to trust Shaw. It's a major weakness in our squad. We absolutely can't continue with this lot next season.

Well Rojo made two goals, one for each side.

Seriously though, I'll never understand why we play him on the left. He clearly likes to tuck inside too much and leave the flank uncovered. And his ability on the ball is making Smalling look like Maradona some times.

@Treble_Winning feck off with your over confidence. It's your fault we just conceded.
Indeed. Lets blame it all on him.
In fact, if we lose today, in the post match interview, Jose should mention that a a certain forum member has been too positive and the reason why they lost was solely down to him.

Pogba incredibly poor. Lingard not much better. Martial and Mata also not really good enough.

Carrick for Pogba at half time. Or get Rooney on for Lingard or Mata at least. No midfield.

Pogba is letting the team down so far. We've no presence in midfield, and a midfield will win you a final.

We have had a lot of luck today, I'm praying we hold on in the second half. We could do with going to a 3 in midfield and brining Carrick on. Rojo should get hooked as well. He's too narrow. Southampton's getting down out left easily.

Defence looking the same as it always does when the opposition aren't afraid to attack and get decent balls in. With extra Rojo shitness

Mata and Martial have been passengers, they have offerred zero protection and nothing offensively.

Don't know what Jose was thinking when putting Rojo at LB. He's never played well there.

We're also crying out for a defensive mid to offer protection to our back four and give the platform for our attackers to do their job.

Should put Carrick and Blind in.

Besides height, I'm not sure if Rojo is better at anything at left back than Blind.

Was worried before the game, and he's proving me right. He is good at CB, not LB

Rojo has been so bad. We need a change in midfield, we're getting overrun and it's pulling our full backs out of position.

Rojo keeps cutting inside into a LCB position. He's obviously not comfortable having played CB most of the season.

I'd be tempted to get Young on.

Another half of that and they'll win it. Redmond and Tadic are being allowed to turn into space with no one around them and Rojo hasn't been able to actually do any defending. I'd take Mata off for Carrick.

Changes are needed for the 2nd half.
Martial and especially Mata have been poor.
    Hope to see Carrick on.

Carrick on at half time-would say for Mata as he has been invisible but think with Lingard being on a yellow it could be him,

We've really been awful. Although ironically we've been clinical in front of goal. Surely there's a happy medium we can reach.

Bailly and Rojo having issues. For Bailly this is concerning considering the St Ettiene performance. Perhaps he needs some benchtime.

Our back four looks so bloody average. We need to shift to a midfield 3, Pogba isn't screening the back 4 at all.

I am not sure if Jose has got this tactically wrong, or the players are having a collective brain fart. We don't deserve to be leading. Rojo at CB yes, at LB, please no. His positioning is attrocious and with Martial being super lazy off the ball that side is of the pitch is causing us so many problems.

Sad that Jose may have to make two subs at half time, but at least that should leave the last sub for Rashford and no Rooney. Poor all over and it should be 2-2.

That goal was coming and 2-1 is excellent on the balance of play. We can't hang on to a 1 goal lead for 45 minutes and their defence is average so get Carrick on, shore up the left and attack.

 I think we're going to win but this is probably the worst we've played all season. Just nothing there.

Tyler's not even bothering to hide his allegiances today. He's probably performing commentary from Klopp's lap.
