Want us to win but also need Erik to see that he still desperately needs that metronome CM

ETH has shown he doesn’t mind dropping a few big names.

But so far the young crop hasn’t been given any minutes.

So I think it will be same again…with the added drama it will create next week if Ronaldo and Maguire don’t start again.

A second Win will get United right up the league, so potential for this weekend to go well or a complete disaster!

De Gea, Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Malacia, Casemiro, Fred, Bruno, Sancho, Rashford, Ronaldo.

Casemiro + Fred would make a solid midfield and 4 of Bruno-Sancho-Rashford-Ronaldo should be enough for goals. If not, bring Eriksen in 2nd half.

This game will tell us a lot about some of these players. If they can come through this test I’m hopeful.

United have a shocking and embarrassing away record coming into this game.

    - Have lost the last 7 away Premier league games (their record is 10 in 1936)

    - 4 goals in 4 of those games conceded

    - have been losing at half time in each of those 7 games. Zero response to turn it around

    - have failed to score in 5 of the last 6 Premier league away games

Beating Liverpool was great but it will be better to build on that win and put that dreadful away record to the past.

I'm amazed that over 75% are predicting a win away from home.

I'm assuming Rashford plays up top with Elanga on the left, then Cristiano comes on for Elanga after an hour.

Stick with the winning team. Casemiro can come off the bench.

We have finally find a great defence balance in Varane-Martinez-Malacia, and with the world's best DM and in-form Casemiro making his first start, we are going to have a very strong midfield as well. Our confidence is at near all time high after beating Liverpool last week. We should win big on this one.

4 goals to nil is my guess.

Has Casemiro been confirmed starter? I think we are getting McFred for at least 45 mins.

I’d go with this too. Need a solid mid away from home. Fred would give us a lot of energy against a team that press. I’ve a feeling he’s going to go Casemiro and eriksen though. I’m surprised eriksens started all the games so far.

If ETH is thick, wants to lose again and possibly get sacked quickly, he'll pick McFred.

I’m missing this because of a wedding. First time in a very long time that I’ve been really disappointed to miss a Utd game, it’s a strange feeling to have again, the excitement of seeing us play diminished.

Excited to see how the team can build on last week’s result. Expect a similar lineup but with Casemiro in for McT.

    de Gea
    Dalot Varane Martinez Malacia
    Casemiro
    Bruno Eriksen
    Sancho Rashford Elanga
    ____________

Wouldn’t surprise me if McT keeps his place though and it’s Eriksen who misses out, to give us more height at set pieces. These are the types of games that we need to be winning if we have any ambition of achieving top 4 this year.

    There's only one United!
I'd rather Garnacho start on the left and Rashford up top than have Ronaldo playing. feck him.
I agree with you but Garnacho hasn't been given playing time yet unfortunately.

I think he’ll go with his ideology and play the 11 you said. Could be another rude awakening for him.

    Dig up stupid!
Feeling a lot more worried now kickoff approaches

I know that if we play like Monday we'll be fine and we'll win well but I still don't trust them. Our away form has been absolutely shocking for so long now.

This weeks been so nice as a fan, as nice as I've felt about utd in 2 seasons. Please, please, please don't make me go back to that other place. Please play well. Please
