We should be going in with the aim of rattling Spurs early. They obviously won't be as bad as they were today but they'll be low on confidence and it's a good opportunity to start turning our poor away record around.

Spurs players have quite clearly checked out. Should be impossible to lose this.

Doubt Bruno makes this if he came off with the ankle injury.

I was gonna say that the WC and the fixture congestion it causes can feck right off,
only to realize that Newcastle also plays on the 27th. good.

Right then. a draw with 0 significant injuries will be a blast.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Bruno misses out due to his ankle.

    Maguire simply can’t play.

    De Gea
    AWB - Lindelof - Shaw - Dalot
    Casemiro
    Eriksen - Fred
    Antony - Martial - Rashford

Win this and top 4 is totally done.

    I predict long balls and

    ................... De Gea

    Bissaka - Maguire - Lindelöf - Shaw

    ......... Casemiro - Fernandes

    ... Antony - Sabitzer - Rashford

    ................. Martial
Yeah, that's the team I was going to post as well.

Definitely think, with plenty of CM options, we should be resting Eriksen after three starts in 8 days so soon after his return. And Fernandes deeper, with Sabitzer #10, is the alternative I hope we go with.

I'm torn as to whether I'd prefer us to stick with Shaw LCB and Dalot LB, or whether to bring back Maguire and move Shaw back to LB. I think, with Varane and Martinez out for much / all of the season, then we will need to rely on Maguire to play some games so best for his confidence to come back into the team sooner rather than later and show some trust in him to perform?

Sorry lads, FA has decided we will be dropping points in this one

Oh feck right off. How this bald feckwit has been allowed to officiate another one of our games this season boggles the mind.

Casemiro needs to be treating the game as a non-contact sport then.

They’ll raise their game and beat us because we are shite away from home. But then Spurs will lose at anfield the following game.

We need to raise our game…haven’t played that well lately. Some players struggling, maybe fatigue or carrying knocks. They will be up for it, and we could really use a result in this one to work toward top 4.

They'll no doubt raise their game massively against us
    They’ll raise their game
This Spurs side can't game raise, it's why the FA assigned Anthony Taylor to the game. Gotta give them the ref advantage. Any borderline foul will be a yellow for us and they'll be able to mug us. Any potential penalty for us won't be reviewed whereas if we graze Kane or Son in the box it will be looked at for any still image that looks like a foul

We've won 3 on the bounce in the league.

Hopefully they don't fire whomever is in charge right now. Honestly the only way I see them get fired up is with a new manager bounce.

I’m talking our last two matches have not been great…today and Europa.
Sevilla has weird juju in Europa. Not sure how anyone could use today as an example, all I heard for days is how we would be lucky if Brighton doesn't put 5 past us, they had possesion but I think we had the better chances.

We did ok today without our first choice centrebacks and with Cas, Rash and Eriksen still really only getting back up to speed.

Even if we are without Bruno on Thursday, I’m hoping for a better display. Spurs should also be easier to play than Brighton, as they don’t press or retain the ball anywhere near as well.

I don’t think it’s game over in terms of top 4 even if we lose this but I hope we get a point at the very least.

They've conceded 51 goals this season only teams in the relegation battle have conceded more than them. In fact Everton who is in the drop zone has conceded less.
Not following the overall PL as closely this year, I did a double take reading this and checked that Everton are indeed in the relegation zone. They would probably save themselves by the end but woah! Who would have expected THAT!

Spurs are already out of top 4 race IMO and hopefully their players would also see it that way.

Anything but a loss to be honest. We can afford to draw this one.

We've got a tough run of games with very little recovery time. Important to take advantage of a club in crisis here.

If you score early we will collapse and the stadium will likely get destroyed by the spurs fans. It's going to be a horrible atmosphere.
