Wolfsburg's home record is very good and the pressure on us is huge, it's hard to see us winning. LvG is unpredictable so he might go 3-5-2 and hope to nick something on a set piece, but I'd love to us try this.....

It's not as if we should be expected to get something here anyway, regardless of manager. Wolfsburg are a better team with better players and play in a higher quality league.

That's not accurate. CSKA can play Europa League if they beat PSV. Unless they prefer to focus on their domestic duties rather than playing Europa, they will go for a away win.

I'd move Blind to leftback, Darmian to rightback and Carrick to centreback alongside Smalling. Schmidfield in front of them, and the same front four that finished the game against West Ham (Martial, Mata, Memphis and Lingard).

United and CSKA to win and the group will finish in the order most expected at the start of the season. I really can't see Wolfsburg doing that well, they still look a bit too naive in Europe in my opinion.

This is the most important game in LVG's MUFC career. This could make or break him.
When we went out of the CL in 2014, Moyes was sacked and I'm sure LVG is fully aware of this.
With this in mind, I think the target will be 1-0 and it is very possible for us to achieve this.

I honestly feel that if we manage to score 1 early on we will go on to score more. These chances will start going in at one point! Hopefully it's now.

We will win, Wolfsburg will want to win the group, they won't want a draw and assume that PSV screw up, so they will attack. United will hit them on the break. Lots of Wolfsburg possession, but United will hold out.
