Need to bring on Lingard and Fred for Mata and Pereira. Then if we still need a goal later Gomes on for Matic.

West Ham have a better attack than we do.

Says it all really - we never look like scoring a goal even if we played for 5 matches worth.

Mata is useless but we gave him another 3 years  things won’t change until we get a new CEO or DOF
I agree about the need for DoF but do you really think Mata gets handed a new deal if Ole didn't want him?

Absolute dogshit. Ole looks out of his depth. We are no better than when we were under Moyes or LVG and certainly no better than we were under Jose. What is he thinking with picking Mata, matic and Young?

We deserve a much much better manager. Ole is as average as they come. This has reached an LvG level of boredom.
What's he supposed to do with the squad?

How could the squad be fixed with a net spent of 30mil since he took over?

Is that really what a striker should be doing? If he's running the channels, then who the feck is supposed to meet the crosses? Pereira? Or are we only supposed to score from penalties and 40 yard screamers?
When we struggle to get the ball in the oppositions final third, then yes, he should be. It relieves pressure and gets us up the pitch.

That's the problem with everyone going "xGA is great we're conceding few chances", since we concede a goal pretty much every time the opposition get a chance.
Tiki Takalona had very few chances against, but those were converted very often (shit keeper often to blame).

Think this is why we shouldn't have given Rashford a superstar contract. Because he's not like, you know, a superstar.

I'm genuinely not seeing any pressing at all? Someone in a forum posted how great we have been at pressing with some crap statistic like xG, where the feck was the pressing when Mark fecking Noble kept the ball like Iniesta.
Did you watch the other games? The team were pressing. They aren't doing it today and have fairly been fairly lethargic. Changes needed immediately.

Just bring Fred, Chong and Gomes on for Matic, Mata and Pereira now, they can surely do no worse than that show so far!

When you gameplan is sitting deep and doing nothing in attack you get this.
We slayed Mourinho because he parked the bus against City and Pool. Ole is doing it against fecking ...everybody
Yeh I don’t see why everyone thinks we’re playing well under Ole?

It’s boring & dire in the most part

Good finish that, but the pressing on Noble was non existent. On the edge of our box too.

We're so far off where we were when Ole first took over and we played with a good attitude and entertaining football. Going backwards
We are going backwards. We've invested in this team (not enough obviously) and yet we're worse.

They'll be a a long list of excuses but Ole is not good enough, we shouldn't be this bad.

We knew right since last year that only Pogba offers any creativity in the team. It was atrocious for the management not buying any one in the midifield. We are done meat for opposition when no creative midfielder is playing. So nothing surprising or shocking is happening these days.

Mata and Matic should never be seen in a United shirt again. Sub them plus Pereira with Gomes,Fred and Chong

We're walking round the pitch like we're half asleep. West Ham put one quality move together and we can't handle it. It's embarrassing to see.

I wonder if Neville will rip into the team like he would do for anyone else? Or will he stay silent for his mate? He's been very quiet so far.

Another 45 minutes without a single chance created.
Hey, we had Matic's shot into the keeper's hands from 30 yards.
And Rashford through on the left then bungling it.

Don't like me mentioning those? Well, that's as good as it'll get today son.

Game over, that's how pathetic we are these days when you cant see us doing anything when we go just 1 goal down to a side, pissed off with Solskjear's stupid naive loyalty towards two average players in rashford and lingard over the past 9 months, rashford should have been sold not lukaku, at least with its lukaku it's obvious what he actually is and his strengths, what is rashford, just a average back up striker/winger who struggles in front of goal and doesn't provide for team mates.

    On todays line-ups, i'll name 7.

Diop, Cresswell, Rice, Fornals, Yarmolenko, Anderson, Haller

They are improvements on Lindelof, Young, Matic, McTominay, Mata, Pereira & Rashford
    God, you're right.

In a combined lineup you'd probably take twice as many West Ham players than United players, let that sink in.

    Is anyone suprised? Be honest.
Not at all. Why would anyone expect any different from those attacking options. Without Martial anything we put out is a relegation standard front 4.

    Red Card for Casemiro!
When there is a good goal, you can usually do something about it in the build-up. Noble wasn't pressed at all and no one followed the guy he passed to. Made it easier for them.
Exactly. These are basics of defending, and require just a little more of awareness from our players/manager,

When Yarmolenko cut back to his left after receiving the ball, both our CBs got sold. No chemistry or understanding there at all. Let's not even talk about how Noble was allowed to turn 180 and run unmarked at the edge of our box. I'll have to rewatch to see who was responsible for that, but the lack of pressure was a joke, just like the concept of our attack.

Why oh why do we look so tired, it’s the 6th game of the season and we look exhausted.

    Such a disappointing first half.

Give it 10-15 and get Gomes and Chong on, at least they can run, there’s no goals in the current 11 so we may as well give it a go, worst case we get beat by more than 1.

That was cowardly. Like our away form is playing on everyones minds so nobody wants to take a risk. Dan James the exception.

Gosh that was a horrid, horrible half of football. What I would give to attend our training sessions! Hard to take, such a listless performance. No matter how supportive or positive one wants to be, that was so so bad.

Ole's a pussy. He's not even capable of making us look as good as West Ham.

No bollocks to even pick Fred over Matic or Pereira. Or Gomes over Mata.

Nothing other than Mata and Pereira coming off at HT is acceptable.
Well he clearly is because West Ham have been just as shite as Utd. One goal doesn’t change that anymore than it would if Utd had scored one.

It doesn’t require balls to pick Fred, just desperation. He’s no good either.

Wonder if G Nev still thinks we're "Not far off", or that we'll win a title before Liverpool!

That Rashford chance when through on goal...so fecking poor.
Somehow I thought he would be able to speed up but it didn't work out, I don't understand why it didn't happen. Is he playing while being injured again? That's getting ridiculous at this point.
