What was proper shite other than some of our finishing? Routine 2-0 cup win.
I think it’s the lack of any structure or methods of attacking from us considering the level of opposition.

Wigan are currently lower than my local team Wycombe(They are really really shit). We should look like prime Barca or at least be able to copy that one great performance we had against Spurs well over a year go now but there wasn’t any remotely interesting happening. Won with a ok shot from outside the box and a soft penalty.

Tbh we play like we have just appointed a intern manager. Which is a concern.

    My feelings exactly.
Have to hope this win at least helps with player confidence. Which is a incredibly depressing thing to post.

We are playing like a team with zero confidence
Hopefully we can go on a winning run and start building confidence but we need a striker badly
This is how I see it, the only confident players are the younger players who are probably playing without fear or baggage which can happen.

Battered them first half and a half decent striker scores two and maybe gets a hat trick. Could have easily been five nil at half time and no one could have said it was unfair.

I think second half we took our foot off the gas a bit, I hope so anyway. Wigan were abject other than one chance early on.

Heard Matty Cash talk after their game about the defensive coach and the corners coach.… practicing shape, crossing, etc.

I honestly don’t know what we do in coaching… when we take the ball off Onana, the out balls are limited. We seem to get drawn out of shape. Our crosses from FKs and corners are awful.

I want Ten Hag to work but he makes it hard work when we do basics poorly. Either he’s not telling them OR he is and they’re not, in which case just drop them. Whoever.

Not convinced the coaching team is good enough.
    United coaching Team consists of ;

    Mitchel van Der Gaag
    Steve McClaren
    Benni McCarthy
    Eric Ramsey
    Richard Hartis
    Paul Brand

plus another 15 coaches and Analysts
There is so much failure and so much mediocrity, you think by now the club would have a corner taker that can beat the first man and flight the ball into the 6 yard box, we have no innovation at free kicks it’s simple Bruno balloons it over the bar or Rashford knuckleballs it just wide or into the Wall.

Yesterday, we say a CB Johnny Evans who was elite player about 10 years ago step into midfield and play because he can even at 35/36 against modest opposition from league one. Most of the other players have no idea and our pattern of play is so predictable and easy to stop and when we have no creativity in midfield or from our full backs. The coaches are simply not doing or don’t know how to break down teams in modern football by elaborate pattern of plays.

Quite simply the Manager and his coaching staff are S….!
Complete Reset is required and that means all the coaching staff, every last one of them?

Fergie would tear into Rashford for not squaring to the striker/ not passing to the striker/ not creating for the striker. I want ETH to lay into Rashford for not creating/ passing enough.
Rashford made 1 assist and 6 key passes, which was joint highest with Bruno. Statistically, that tells me that Rashford set up quite a few chances.

Maybe someone needs to tear into Hojlund for missing two sitters...
