    If McTominay's out:

    DeGea
    AWB - Varane - Maguire - Shaw
    VdB - Fred
    Sancho - Bruno - Pogba
    Greenwood
That's a core that will break down the low block but the line can hold back the counter.
Dont know where you've been but Wolves low block days are long gone.

Another draw or a defeat will pile on the pressure on Ole and his coaching team. With the squad we have, it should be a walk in the park but who knows what mood they will be in?

Tricky line up. I think I would play:

    ------------------------------------------------De Gea--------------------------------------------
    AWB------------------------Varane----------------------Maguire--------------------------Shaw
    -----------------------------------Fred------------------------Pogba-------------------------------
    Greenwood------------------------------Bruno--------------------------------Sancho
    ------------------------------------------------Cavani---------------------------------------------

I've no doubt Ole will play Lindelof, Matic and probably Martial or James (FML).

So, start Sancho and push Pogba back to midfield? or leave Pogba on the left, Sancho right and DVB Mid.

    Heavy right wing that is...

Seriously, I think this will be mostly the lineup, but dont see Cavani starting yet, nor Varane. Lindelof will continue and I reckon James or Lingard will step in.

Hope both Sancho and Varane get starts. Have heard or seen nothing about Cavani so assuming bench at best with him.

Will a triple pivot work? With split forwards and a false 9?

    DDG

    AWB - Varane - Maguire - Shaw

    Beek - Fred - Pogba

    Bruno
    Greenwood ----------------------- Sancho

With McTominay out its probably going to be Matic starting again ffs.

Really wish we'd just try a midfield 3 of Fred, VDB and Bruno. With Varane in defence we don't need a 3rd CB which is what Matic essentially is.

I've been impressed by Wolves under this new manager. Unlucky to have not scored against Leicester and Spurs. Don't think this is an easy game, especially with Matic and Fred likely to be our midfield. Could make a very real argument that Neves and Moutinho is a better midfield 2 than Fred and Matic which is pretty depressing. I think this will be the lineup even though I'd prefer VDB to start next to Fred:

    de Gea

    AWB Varane Maguire Shaw

    Matic Fred

    Sancho Bruno Pogba

    Mason

Prediction: Wolves 1-2 Utd (Bruno, Mason)

De Gea, Shaw, Maguire, Lindelof, AWB, Matic, Fred, Pogba, Greenwood, Sancho.

I don't think Ole will drop Lindelof so Varane will have to wait. Donny isn't starting, think we'd need at least another two midfield injuries before that happens...may get 5 mins off bench though.

Despite narrowly losing their opening two games, they've actually performed well and look good. They're unlucky to not have got anything from both games, hope they stay unlucky on Sunday!

    De Gea
    AWB--Varane--Maguire--Shaw
    Matic--Fred
    Sancho--Bruno--Pogba

Not optimistic to be honest. Varane needs to make his debut, maybe he can inject a bit of confidence back into the team.

Lindelof will start ahead of Varane and get outmuscled by Raul

Sancho will be on the bench again and get 10/15 mins at the end

Matic and Fred will start together. We have never won when they have started together.

We won’t even have a shot on target and will lose

Ole likes to pull surprises. I wouldn't think benching an in-form player was a good idea, but I've seen it happen. One only need look back to Martial being benched for Alexis to see this.

Ole's got a selection nightmare on his hands because he knows - as surely as everyone else does - that Fred + Matic does not work.

Maybe Ole goes nuts and plays 3 CBs and changes the whole shape. Ha ha.

    We're dropping points.

I think Lindelof has been very good last two games and benching him now would be too risky. Expect Varane late 2nd half.

Sancho needs to start. It's go-time, son.
I could see Pogba getting benched, only because I just added him to my fantasy team.

If Garner is available I would switch things around and get him in the game from the start.

    Benching Varane again

It’s time to play him ffs. And also we gotta stop playing 2 defensive mind of midfielders just to protect Lindelof and Maguire partnership. I can’t think any better debut than this.

See above. I think Ole will introduce Varane second half. I agree with that part. The part I don't agree with is Fred+Matic partnership.
Come on, let’s not making excuses to create pointless argument. That’s the XI you want based on your own logic not based on Ole’s logic as you said it yourself that you think Lindelof should start because it’s risky to bench him and you also think Sancho needs to start.

Please don't start Matic again. It'll be a repeat of the Southampton match, possibly worse. But we don't really have too many options there do we? Maybe he plays Pogba with Fred.

I think the pressure is quite high to play Varane as well. He's the defender with the highest salary in the whole PL, and the man with the wallet wants to see some action. Ole is pressed to play him, but he must also make sure he is an instant success when he plays him.
Then we have the factor that a new player should not feel confident to just walk in to the starting XI, he should show something first. That part is difficult with a CB, as it's not a position where you can make many subs. Shame we don't have any cup matches now. (we have many players who Ole probably wants in his starting XI, but might not be 90 min players right now; Cavani, Martial, Varane, Sancho, maybe not wants to waste a sub on a CB)
And then the third factor, that it is psychologically wrong to bench the CB who has been performing best so far.

Got a feeling this match will top the sh*tstorm after the Ronaldo saga. Too much negativity around United at the moment.

If it's a Matic start I'm not watching. Was thinking back to last year and how many games he started where we were dreadful.

    Away in Turkey
    6-1 Spurs
    Home loss to Sheffield United.

Ole's already messed up this season in what should have been a 9 point set of fixtures before the international break, he's got no excuses now to not start Sancho and Varane.

    Whole season is a shambles

    Cavani refusing to play
    Martial has no hair
Sancho is just Sean Wright Phillips 2.0
Varane will never be match fit
Ole not a big enough name
    McSauce out for the season
    Rashford out for months
    Pogba leaving on a free
    Van De Beek a dud

All positivity going into the season disappears after 3 games if we drop points here.
