Let's smash the unbeaten away league record here, and crush the mighty Wolves in the process by at least a few goals.

Our train wasn't derailed today, we just suffered a temporary breakdown.

    Sancho and Varane to start.

    3-0 United.

Sancho and Varane from start or riot.

DvB as well, can't do worse than Fred and Matic today.

Wolves didn’t look too bad in the motd highlights. Thought they’d be muck this season but just seemed a bit unlucky.

It is not that difficult Ole. We have the talent. With this lineup, I expect us to smash Wolves Comfortable. This is not Wolves under Nuno. This Wolves has looked much more poorer.

There's no way we are coming out of this alive, I just don't see it happening.

    2-0 Wolves

Already a must win game. Thankfully Wolves have started the season poorly.

Does anyone else notice the complete lack of urgency in some of our games under Ole. Like we create 2-3 chances, score a goal and I don’t know if the players don’t know the score or something, because the intensity drops off a cliff.
I think we need to bring in a coach for drilling intensity into these players.

We'll have 10 coaches doing the job Ole has to do.

    Set piece coach
    Press-resistance coach
    Press-initiating coach
    Intensity coach
    Chance creation coach
    Control coach
    Build up coach
    Overlap coach
    Players in the box coach
    Shield against counter coach

    No more Fred please.

    De Gea
    AWB - Varane - Maguire - Shaw
    McTominay - Pogba
    Mason - Bruno - Sancho
    Cavani
The Fred and McTominay midfield combo with Pogba on the left looks so much stronger.

I hope the result against Southampton was a wake up call for Ole to stop messing around easing in players and just throw them in like City and Chelsea have done with Grealish and Lukaku. Get Varane and Sancho in, give the team and players a boost and attack.

As for the midfield I’m afraid McFred is making the best of a bad situation, and until a new midfielder is brought in this is the most stable pairing we have (as depressing as it is).

Will be a tough game, they may have lost their two previous games but from the looks of it they made it pretty tough for the opposition.

Hoping Cavani and VDB get some minutes off the bench.

Wolves looked like they had a game similar to us yesterday. Could've won but didn't take their chances and didn't make their spells of momentum count. They're definitely not Nuno's Wolves anymore, they look to play on the frontfoot a lot more. Despite their two losses this season, their football looks more expansive than before and they've been unlucky in two tough games. We definitely need to be up for this more than we were yesterday.

No idea why everyone is hating on Matic, didn't play brilliantly but Martial, Fred & AWB were all far worse for my money.

Don't want 2 sitting midfielders this game, perfect time to try the 4-3-3 against Wolves who will surely park the bus.

We're going pretty good if we're not doing anything you numbered...

Anyway Sancho must absolutely start. Hopefully Cavani too. And no need for 2 DMs again, put Pogba to midfield and ffs give VDB a chance.

It just seems a little odd after Lindelof had a very commanding first game, then today he was better of the two while Maguire was making mistakes left and right.
Like I said, not based off one game.

Maguire was shite as well I might add.
    He wont be dropped though
Maguire was very poor indeed but bar pogba I thought the rest were walking in treacle. Those passages of play where a ball is there to be won, bouncing around and being awkward, we are atrocious at taking control in those moments. Someone will just tap it chest high and so it goes on until the opposition bring it under control it’s so frustrating!

DDG has done nothing wrong why drop him ? Matic , never want to see him in a United shirt again.
I’m not going to pretend to be a Matic fan, I just see Wolves as a game we should look to dominate possession in, and between McTominay, Fred & Matic, Matic is the best on the ball. In a dream world we would sign 2 midfielders between now and the Wolves game.

Put Henderson in as the reports before the start of the season was that Henderson was going to be our No1, think with another week of training and gym work Henderson would be back to 100%. (Probably the same people who reported that we would play 4-3-3 which turned out to be bollocks)

I dont see Henderson as No1..
Both have strengths both have weaknesses, DDG just has the edge for me.

Where actually is Cavani? He seems to just not play for games in a row and nobody questions it because of his age (which I guess is fair enough).

He’s absolutely quality but we need a guaranteed starter number 9. Especially when our back-up (Martial) is so pathetic.

They played well today and should have beaten Spurs by all accounts.
It looks like they are trying to play a much more open/offensive game so this might suit us well compared to previous seasons when they were under Nuno. Surely Sancho starts RW, Varane gets his debut and Greenwood CF again now.

We'll ease Cavani in with 10 minutes, ease Varane in with 20 minutes and go a little wild and ease Sancho in some more with a whole 30 minutes. They should all be up and running some time around February.
