As a Spurs fan, I would take Rooney. IIRC, Rooney's peak was higher than Kane's.

Although not a target man, I imagine that Kulusesvki can play up top with Son in a 3-5-2 when Kane is out.

It is a compressed season with 2 games every week for probably most weeks of the season. Maybe the low-block tactics can help reduce injury and fatigue. Just a thought.

So far this season Kane has 5 goals, 8 assists, 3 blocked shots, 7 clearances, and 9 tackles. A complete box-to-box forward.
