  1. Gaming Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (PC, PS4, Xbox One)

I didn't really like it, I've had it on the back burner while I played a few other games. Combat mechanics were fine and gameplay was good, but it's habit of not telling you things and being obtuse as possible was getting on my nerves a bit.
  2. Gaming The Last of Us Part II (PS4)

Well up front I don't like the direction the story of the second is going. However if you do end up liking it, then playing the first will make it more meaningful and give you the full picture of Ellie's journey.
  3. Gaming The Last of Us Part II (PS4)

You're probably better to play the original first, which you can get fairly cheap now...probably.
  4. Gaming The Last of Us Part II (PS4)

Apparently he said it last night during the Sony stream, but I can't see him not reviewing it. He might just not like Nintendo games and giving a Nintendo game a low score probably isn't worth the hassle. Look at the shit Jim Sterling got for *only* giving Zelda a 7. It's one of the reasons I...
  5. Gaming The Last of Us Part II (PS4)

Someone told me he's not doing a review as Sony refused to give him an early review copy. I like his reviews but don't always agree with him. I tend to find him, Skill Up, Angry Joe and Jim Sterling are honest enough, but I don't always agree with them. I no longer bother with places like IGN or...
  6. Gaming The Last of Us Part II (PS4)

I don't think it's fair to say that people who saw/read an entire story and chose not to spend at least £40 of their own money on that based on what they know are somehow in the wrong. The bigotry is a separate issue, but when games journalists feel like just another wing of marketing then using...
  7. Rashford | takes on the government over free meals for kids - and wins

He seems to be an all around great lad.
  8. Gaming PlayStation 5 (Console) | Over 37 million individual players have downloaded Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

Meh. Not seeing anything that makes me interested in a new console.
  9. Gaming Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (PC, PS4, Xbox One)

Not quite, but I can't be far off. I've played about an hour and a half so almost there. I like that it reminds me of Ninja Gaiden a bit, but it's also needlessly awkward and obtuse which is annoying. Like it's trying to be harder than it is by being more awkward than it needs to be. It gives...
  10. Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

Banshee is back on Sky Rewind or whatever the box sets thing is now called. I've been rewatching it and it's every bit as brilliant as I remembered. Although I totally forgot how funny some of the fights were. People getting hit with punches that would fell an elephant and just fighting on...
  11. Gaming PS5 vs Xbox Series S|X

I could do with swording some stuff in the face ninja style. Even though some Japanese people recently stole £70 from me with their nostalgia based lies. I'd love a 4k remake of Ninja Gaiden 1+2 now that I think about it. Sold! I'll give it a go. Even though I don't seem to be as good at games...
  12. Gaming PS5 vs Xbox Series S|X

Hhmm I might give it a go. I'm essentially just putting on games then abandoning them after a few hours lately.
  13. Gaming PS5 vs Xbox Series S|X

Even the best games are let down by the fact you're essentially facing idiots. I think Alien Isolation was maybe the last time I felt like enemy AI wasn't just me toying with fools. Would you recommend Sekiro if someone isn't particularly enamoured with the Dark Souls formula? I see it on sale...
  14. Gaming PS5 vs Xbox Series S|X

With this extra power I hope they stop just pushing graphics, we're already approaching the point of diminishing returns with that. Isn't it about time we got some sort of AI upgrade? Enemy AI in most games is still kind of pathetic, it still feels like the original Halo was the last big step up...
  15. The best midfield combinations: Any specific choice?

I can see that. At the same time though Keane wasn't just a solid defensive midfielder, he was a world class box to box midfielder and it could have worked just as well with someone else sitting and Keane getting up and down the pitch. I vaguely recall someone trying to play Beckham as a...
