The player who cleared the ball was quite far in the penalty box already when the penalty was taken. While it is correct that no Chelsea player is nearby and from this screenshot it looks like it would have been cleared anyway, I think this is one of those cases that you just can never predict...

I definitely dont recall ETH for having a great plan B at Ajax. On the other hand, he's very good at making plan A work, which I would argue is way more important then being able to pull of a hail mary now and then... :)

Piers Morgan has got to be one of the worst interviewers out there. The amount of loaded questions, while only sucking up to Ronaldo... In such a big interview, you would expect the interviewer to at least attempt to be more neutral... On the other hand, he is probably the perfect interviewer...

So the main learning out of this interview is that Ronaldo and Morgan are a perfect fit... He is complaining that he felt that they were not supportive enough, but from what they said in the media at the time (and also more recently) it seems they were pretty respectful...

He should have had more. I dont know how, but he got away with some very obvious red cards by kicking/hitting/trying to headbutt other players somehow. That is definitely a risk (but it could easily be that he matured a bit since then)

Perfectly fine, why? Dont get me wrong, I am not saying Berghuis is better than Antony, not at all. I am just saying that Ajax has enough options that are decent enough in case they do sell (which seems to be the case). And I know that there are a lot of Ajax fans who arent too sad if Antony...
