  1. Kieran Trippier / signed for Newcastle

    Sign him
  2. ‘U.K. should be seen as a model of racial equality’ - Report

This seems a sensible analysis. I can absolutely guatantee that overt racism does exist in the UK. The analyis of economic inequality due to racism is interesting as the 2 might be decoupled.
  3. Is Jadon Sancho really worth the 100 plus million fee?

He is a very good player and if he comes here he may be good for us. I personally though dont see a few qualities that I like. Kingsley Coman I think looks a better fit and he seems potentially keen on a move. Would be wonky to see him go to City when he is exactly the profile of player we...
  4. Is Jadon Sancho really worth the 100 plus million fee?

Would not pay more than GBP50-60m for him. Its still a great return on investment for Dortmund. Whatever they receive they are not going to spend big themselves, and I doubt any other club will pay them more than we would be prepared. Nobody was biting their hand off last season and especially...
  5. Man Utd updated schedule - 4 games in 8 days | Roma, Villa, Leicester, Liverpool

Sorry to continue this :smirk: but Pogba absolutely toyed with Spurs playing as an advanced midfield frollicking about near the LW wing. He can be unplayable doing that. Can also play in a 2 deeper and has got much better at it, but its not necessarily his best position.
  6. Why has only 1 German ever played for United?

Why don't many English players play abroad? Better climates, fitter women, better cuisine..... we have a very introverted league with English players who cant survive without Momma making them their fish fingers and spaghetti hoops.
  7. Raiola talking about Pogba again - For United: Make or break

I doubt his last big one. We may have him until he is 30 and I dont see a physical decline happening. He will pick up big wages for at least another 6 years.
  8. Raiola talking about Pogba again - For United: Make or break

Yeah thats my gut feeling. Pogba I think could play to a top level until 34. He must also be loving playing with Cavani, Bruno, Rashford, Shaw, Greenwood. Other top clubs are struggling financially and also look to be in a rebuild phase also. The only ones that arent are PSG and City. He is...
  9. Paul Pogba | 2020/21 Performances

Yes that was an issue. Maturity too. Looks to be he has matured, can play several positions now competently, and puts in a shift. If his current form is anything to go by we have perhaps the most unique midfielder in the world. He is starting to dominate opponents and we should do what we can...
  10. What do we still need? Aka The never ending story

We need to keep Pogba and Cavani for another season. Minimum 1 for Pogba though I have a feelong he might extend until 2023. If we lose both these players next season we are a bit stuffed. Also Cavani is helping Greenwood develop massively, he needs another season. Additions? Back up for AWB...
  11. Luke Shaw | 2020/21 Performances

I seriously rate Shaw but an obvious flaw is he occasionally leaves our CBs in no mans land due to his positioning. He obviously wants to be advanced when we are on the ball but he occasionally pushes up when our opponents have it and that drags Maguire out of the center towards the left and...
  12. Maguire and Lindelof Partnership

Just a classic post. So Lindelof who looked poor under Jose and is currently playing very well alongside Maguire under Ole, and Ole is holding back both Lindelof's and Maguire's potential? This is a satirical post I am guessing?
  13. Marcelo Bielsa on ManUtd style of play - "The more simple the football is, the better it is.

Both finals were brutal. Felt Fergie got his team selections a bit wrong twice.
  14. Marcelo Bielsa on ManUtd style of play - "The more simple the football is, the better it is.

What? Some of the goals we have scored in this season have been incredible. Our overall standard of play has been patchy at times however we have also fairly consistently absolutely ripped opponents apart with incisive attacking play. We are an exciting yet inconsistent team. Our top level...
  15. Marcelo Bielsa on ManUtd style of play - "The more simple the football is, the better it is.

Not sure I agree. What he appears to be saying is that it isnt hard to decipher our style of play however it caters to the strengths of our players and therefore is very hard to negate. We play with a certain unpredictability and freedom because of it.
