It would be nice if we were even at the level where we could throw points against Arsenal - the sad reality is we don't really have a choice - its an inevitable leathering.
Given the financial outlay, the expectation of being Manchester United, the standard of football played this season, the league standing with two games to play, the upcoming Cup Final twatting - this has to be untenable now.
My memories as a 16 year old LMTB holder:
Off to a good start - battering Arsenal 4-1 at home on the 1st day and then slowly sliding off a cliff - it was a pretty dismal league campaign at the end.
Michael Knighton making a complete CUNext Tuesday of himself...............and us.
THAT 5-1...
I have no choice but to go BeIn here in Dubai - keys and mcateer were that bad I turned over to the Arabic commentary channel for the analysis - dreadful
Going back a bit but the 'no goal' in the 1989 FA Cup Quarter Final vs Forest where McClair put the over the line to equalize, with Steve Hodge clearing from at least 2 feet inside the goal. The only saving grace being we avoided the trip to Hillsborough for the now infamous semi final.
He needs a drastic upturn in form. ETH cant arse about with him either because if he carries on dropping bollocks in big games he'll be out of a job. Personally I just cant see it in him to be at the level we need.
Maximum effort for the Chelsea game and then fully rotate for the Fulham game. That should give the final squad as much chance as they possibly have of being prepared.
They targeted him 2nd half and he really struggled. I mean really struggled. At times like this support from your wingman would be nice. Antony had other ideas. I feel a little sorry for LS.
I work in Abu Dhabi with a load of Egyptians - the Salah wank-a-thon is off the charts.
The other shit, like the 7 Up memes have been batted back with a casual -is that yesterdays score you're referring to, or the difference in league points between us??
I think we need to look at the whole situation and perhaps manage our expectations.
From Xmas 2021 through to Season end 2022 we were a fecking horror show, an absolute laughing stock on and off the pitch. We started this season in similar fashion.
Since mid September things started to click...
