Is there any data regarding mortality rate broken down by age? And more importantly , data with respect to pre-existing conditions? E.g. if you're a healthy 30 year old with type 1 diabetes, what's the mortality rate given infection?

Pointing people towards the Tony Bloom example is usually a decent place to introduce laymen to the use of probability and stats. But you're generally on a losing battle when people don't realise that just because something happened doesn't mean it should have happened (and the corollary)

Don't know if any of ye watch underage football but this u21 team is brilliant. Parrott gets all the attention but the Brighton boys Molumby and Connolly have always looked fantastic whenever I've seen them. 1 up vs Armenia at the moment but the speed of passing and confidence is very refreshing
