  1. David Gill interview with Rio

Him saying the roof was leaking even during his time in defense of the Glazers is so funny to me as it had the opposite effect, they've had at least 11 years to address it but still chose not to.
  2. Marcus Rashford | 2023/24 Performances

Is there a Rashford lowlight compilation vs Chelsea ? I was so convinced that we were gonna concede a late equalizer that his "performance" flew completely under my radar.
  3. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Ever since SAF retired the only consistent thing we had is inconsistency. I used to joke with my friends that we look like we train with a rugby ball on a tennis pitch and show up for a football game on the week-end, I'm not sure it's a joke anymore. I don't know if sacking EtH is the solution...
  4. "Correct" post-Fergie transfers that turned out to be poor

I thought a lot of van Gaal signings were good on paper. It was a mix of youth, players ready to kick on the next stage, and some Galacticos. Sadly out of all his transfers only Shaw worked out (and it took a while) and Herrera and Blind were decent.
  5. Marcel Sabitzer | 2022/23 Performances

His disapointing performances aside, he is 29, which means he is in his prime but I don't think he's put forward any memorable performance since he's came in. It's like we've traded a ghost (Van de Beek) with an other one. I get that we needed bodies in midfield and that he's only been here...
  6. Scott McTominay | 2022/23 Performances

Gotta say that I'm pretty disapointed by McTominay. He started the season brilliantly (at least by his standards) and I thought he'll show more as he gets familiarised with EtH methods. But alas he is still the same limited player that we're all accustomed to, which wouldn't be a problem in...
  7. Anthony Elanga | 2022/23 Performances

So by your logic we should keep all our academy players because of the off chance they're all late bloomers ? Sometimes the juice is just not worth the squeeze and it's blatantly obvious that Elanga does not have a future here past this summer.
  8. Harry Maguire | 2022/23 Performances

Why would a Leicester player stand up for a Manchester United player ?
  9. Phil Jones | 2021/22 Performances

From his wiki: "Although his abilities were far short of professional standard, he managed to sign for numerous teams during his decade-long career. He never actually played a regular game, with his only appearance ending in a red card minutes after being brought on, and hid his limited ability...
  10. David de Gea | 2019/20 Performances

He reminds me of Smalling a little bit, both players are very good at their respective job description, but these days being a good defender or keeper isn't enough, you have to be able to play with your feet, command your box, have good distribution, etc… and at this point in his career it seems...
  11. Footballers who faded away

Morten Gamst Pedersen. Used to always be a nuisance whenever we played Blackburn, he was also touted as Giggs heir.
  12. Transfer Tweets - 2019/20 | Check the OP for blacklisted sources before posting

How does that work out for us if this deal goes through ? Do we only get 25% of the £40M ? What about the value of the players included in the deal ?
  13. Ashley Young - Captain of Manchester United

I'm all for hating on Young but it's on the club that we keep 1) extending him 2) selecting him, while not recruiting a top class rb for years. I mean the last WC rb we had was G. Nev and his prime was some 15+ years ago !
  14. Marco Silva | No longer Everton manager

    Moyesey it is !
  15. Man Utd set to appoint Director of Football (when hell freezes over)

No one (from what I remember) had any concrete news about Ole's appointment until it happened. Maybe the club is doing away from the constant leaks and are doing their due diligence before naming anyone.
