Sir, we have been looking at your browsing history and a red flag was raised for us investigate.
Apparently you like to watch Young Boys, in Wank dorf?

If Dalot has just got over a knee injury I doubt he would play on an artificial pitch in case he aggravates it again, so expecting Young at RB, Darmian seems to be right out of things just now.
Agreed with this but I think it'll be Darmian. Doubt Mourinho would want to risk both our left backs.

Would like to see Dalot though.

Turns out it's not on TV in Russia (while literally every other CL game is). Nice

Young Boys' Young Boys vs United's Young Boys

United have just finished playing against Young Boys in the UEFA Youth League. See the result in spoilers below:

We came from behind to win 1:2 with Gomes converting a late penalty.

    Last minute lineup questions

Just under an hour until the lineup predictions close and there are a couple of questions over the lineup - though with Shaw and Rashford confirmed to start, there aren't that many.

    Young, Dalot or Darmian?

Valencia hasn't traveled due to the pitch, leaving three options for right back. Mourinho has pretty much said that Darmian is a last resort, leaving Young or Dalot. I think we'll see Young starting with Dalot possibly coming off the bench and definitely starting in the League Cup against Derby.

    Fellaini no more?

Fellaini has been a starter for the last couple of games but think we'll see Fred come back into the starting lineup for this. He has settled in well with the squad off the pitch - just need the performances to come on the pitch now.

Who will partner Lukaku and Rashford?

Alexis Sanchez has underwhelmed for the most part since his move from Arsenal in January. With Lingard not traveling for whatever reason, the only alternatives are Martial and Mata. I think we'll see Alexis start again. This is a game he needs to make his mark on.

    Damien's predicted XI

    De Gea

    Young Lindelof Smalling Shaw
    Matic
    Fred Pogba
    Rashford Lukaku Sanchez

So do the fans of young boys find it strange? Do they realise how odd their club name sounds?.

Can you imagine 30,000 fans all singing "we love you young boys, we do"
Maybe to the tune of All the Young Dudes by Mott the Hoople.

Really so little about Young Boys that it's hard to predict. One thing is for sure: if we don't get six points from them, getting out of the league stages will be impossible

    Possible leaked team

Luckhurst has posted the following team on the Manchester Evening News blog:

Starting XI: De Gea; Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw; Pogba, Matic, Fred; Rashford, Lukaku, Martial.

There have been errors in the leaked lineups they've posted in the past but the players mentioned sound about right. I'd be surprised if Sanchez was dropped from the starting XI but we'll see.

Why? Valencia don't seem to be up to much this year?

I'm almost certain that all of Young, Shaw, Matic, and Rashford will start. Not to get too far ahead of ourselves, but after Wolves, we have Derby at Old Trafford in the League Cup. That will be the chance for more 'fringe' players to start. For example, I'd think players like Bailly, Mata, Pereira, and Martial have more chance of starting against Derby than they do here. So, I think this is what we might see later:

    de Gea
    Young Smalling Lindelof Shaw
    Fellaini Matic Pogba
    Sanchez
    Lukaku Rashford

I don't think we should change the CB's yet, or the goalkeeper as that can be done against Derby. Same for the midfield as Matic can probably take a couple of games off (one suspension, one on the bench) given he had an injury in the Summer and was rushed back slightly judging by the Spurs game. Fellaini could be left out here though as it's probably going to be a different kind of game than Burnley/Watford, it's just that they've done well together as a three. I wouldn't be surprised to see Fred or Herrera in, but again, Derby is a game I expect to see them play. Rashford has to start and might as well get 90 minutes as he's going to miss the next two matches anyway. Sanchez and Lukaku simply start the important games, of which this definitely is.

When we play Derby, I expect at least one of Smalling/Lindelof to be left out for Bailly and perhaps Dalot to start. Maybe Romero to get his first game of the season as well. The midfield could change a lot, with Herrera, Fred, Pereira, and McTominay all eying a start. Mata & Martial would almost surely be the wide players while one of Lukaku or Sanchez would be the no.9.

    De Gea on his future

"I feel really loved in this club – from the fans, from all the people who are for this club. I am really happy to play for this club, one of best clubs in the world, so for me it’s really good to be part of this club."

Only big club where he can be player of the year so I'm sure he loves it here.

Too dribblers up top with limited movement could be a massive flaw for tonight

Fred seems a no brainer to be honest. More suited to the European game and has experience on artificial pitches. Fellaini is the natural person to drop.

Dalot getting a start. Fair play. Really look forward to seeing him play.

Creative midfield three and a front three that can cause danger for any team if they're on it.

Look forward to seeing how this pans out.

    Young Boys team
Starting XI: von Ballmoos, von Bergen, Benito, Mbabu, Camara, Sulejmani, Sanogo, Sow, Fassnacht, Hoarau, Assale, Seoane
Subs: Wolfli, Bertone, Ngamaleu, Nsame, Schick, Aebischer, Garcia

    Manchester United team
Starting XI: De Gea, Dalot, Lindelof, Smalling, Shaw, Matic, Fred, Pogba (c), Rashford, Lukaku, Martial
Subs: Romero, Bailly, Young, Fellaini, Andreas, Mata, Alexis

Five changes to the United with Dalot, Shaw, Fred, Rashford and Martial coming in for Valencia, Young, Fellaini, Lingard and Sanchez. Andreas also makes a return to the bench after a few weeks absence.

I like that line up. Attacking, pacey and has youth in it. Excited to see what Dalot looks like at right back.
