No, we're blaming him for not dropping de Gea after clangers in four straight matches.
Correct. It’s been said by many managers, if the goal keeper is not mentally ready then he should not be played. It had been obvious his head is not in the game.

Jesus Christ, are you comparing De Gea to Taino? It takes some to be the stupidest post in this thread but congratulations.
Read it again. Taibi was sold for less and you know he was. Tell me what player would be allowed to throw away our top 4 and champions league in 10 games and stay on under Fergie. I’ll wait

I don’t see why he didn’t drop DDG, Romero would have grasped the opportunity and taken it. He’s a consistent performer, DDG is bang out of form and is costing us points. OGS too loyal and nice in this instance.

Gary Neville can feck off too. Saying it’s a disgrace we haven’t tied down Rashford to a new contract. The prick is asking for too much money!

And he’s dying for the FA to look into Matic. Absolute faux hard man prick.

Thing about De Gea is after the fumble he absolutely shits it on the follow up. He could easily have pounced on that.

He’s the most cowardly goalkeeper I think I’ve ever seen.

De Gea’s done. We have to sell in the summer
I had this moment last week.

Honestly don't know why I'm sitting by the computer, arguing with people who have zero experience in any management capacity about the best way to run a football club and who's to blame for our current plight.

Think I'll give this place up until after the summer. At the end of the day I'm not gaining anything by trying to convince absolute strangers that we should back the manager...

Fecking hell. Can't believe we're going in level here at half time. We've been far better than them. A lot of people will point the finger at De Gea (and in some ways rightly, horrendous mistake again) but we also needed to make that pressure count and get a second goal which we failed to do. Chelsea will be energized by this and iekl definitely look to take advantage.

How can you go from being the best keeper in the world to a calamitous liability seemingly overnight?

    Doesn't make sense.
It’s hardly happened overnight. He’s been coasting and making mistakes all season - no consequences, and now the pressure and attention is on him and he’s crumbled.

Give de gea a break. Yeah he has made mistakes but i didnt see young bailey running to save him. It happense in a goalkeepers career. He will take the summer off and reflect. I have been more disappointed with Rashford. Final ball from him is terrible. Tries too much to a defender. He needs to calm down and keep things simple. We have had 4 shots to there 7, we need to test the goalkeeper more not try all this fancy build up.

Rashford is constantly stretching their defense creating openings for everyone else. He's working tirelessly.
Can’t deny that. But we also need some quality in terms of ball retention at some stage if plan A doesn’t work out.

I blame Solskjaer. Ddg has been hopeless for yonks and costing us in every game. We have a decent backup keeper too. Crap management, hasn't the confidence to drop a big player. Fuming.
Ole lost his balls too soon. He was tough in the beginning, now the opposite

3 points are there for the taking if we don't make more stupid mistakes. Wish Bailly's header had gone in.

Young, "Rashy" & De Gea need to pick it up. Those three are stinking up the place. Spoiling the other 8 guys good work.

Herrera is shocking a red card waiting and De Gea is just a joke at the min . This should be his last game this season at least
Duno what to say about the first part of this. Herrera has been fantastic

Ffs, Romero should have started. Ole won't sub DDG at half time either, so the hand half is going to be really difficult. This one is on Ole for sure.

it's also been undone because we've insisted on sitting back. that approach is on Ole. why change a good thing. we scored due to pressing high up the pitch and wresting control of the game overall.

So instead of carrying on we sit back and give the game to them. It is f u c k i n g INSANE. Stupid
    They've created nothing at all.

Anyone would be pleased with a defensive performance where the opponent's only chance is to take pot shots from 30 yards. If you can't trust your keeper to deal with those then you're in big trouble.

We should still win this. Chelsea are crap and the selection today is much better. Midfield is actually working. After watching Fred for a few games even a legless Matic is a relief with the assurance he has on the ball.

Dropping him against Huddersfield now would do feck all. Should have been dropped after Barca game.

Ole looks too weak for such decision and it's costing us.

How many times do we have to watch United play under different managers doing the same thing to see it’s the players? Do you think Ole ran down at 1-0 and told them to stop attacking?
Well even if that's the case it's his job to drill it in to them to not sit back if we go 1 up. It HAS to have been spoken about.

And as they sat back again I would say Ole has told them score 1 then try and pick them off on the counter. With how much he loves the counter I'm sorry but for me it was a strategic choice.

Stupid to put the team under pressure and invite situations where errors can be made.

I'm sick of it. It's fecking ridiculous. 1-1 did not need to happen regardless of David's error. What's the point in 20 minutes good work to self sabotage and cause 25 minutes of strain.

    This forum

De Gea has been our saviour and lord for 3 of the past 4 seasons and now because he’s having a tough few months you all want him sold...

    fecking knee jerk reaction much...
And thats why we are not going to finish top four, because of sentimental horseshit like this.

He isnt just having a “dip in form” he isnt even saving shots and managing his area like a bang average player, he is absolutely terrible at the moment so, as a manager, you take him out of the team not just for the team sake, but for the players sake as well.

Not sure it's concentration. The stupid mug he pulled doesn't fill you with confidence though.
Whatever is wrong with him, Ole's responsibility is to the team and the club on the whole - not to one player. It would have been easy for Ole just to give him some time out like SAF did with him at one point. We have a capable No 2. I keep saying the club treats De Gea with kid gloves and it's hurting us and him.
