I said before, if it was simple drop of form of DDG, nobody should say a word because it happens but i believe his issues comes from this current contract and transfer situation and thats not ok imo.

LvG might be many things but he wasnt a moron when he dropped DDG during that summer transfer window, doubt its not related.

Wouldn’t drop DDG if it was my call. Confidence and form is shot. It’ll return, we should stick with him.

We’ve still got enough in us to win this, really pleased with how we’re playing, can’t criticise the players work rate - stick at it, as we are.

Rashford is such a limited player.

Dont have a single bit of criticism for the 10 outfield players. Brilliant and dominant, just De Gea has let us down. Hope we can still get the win and repeat the first half performance.

It’s been a great half from everyone except de Gea and rashford both awful and are costing the team. We have played well and should be winning
It’s always the same though. Too many individual shit houses in our team. It doesn’t matter how well we play when we have absolute plebs making these shocking errors and decision making.

Give de gea a break. Yeah he has made mistakes but i didnt see young bailey running to save him. It happense in a goalkeepers career. He will take the summer off and reflect. I have been more disappointed with Rashford. Final ball from him is terrible. Tries too much to a defender. He needs to calm down and keep things simple. We have had 4 shots to there 7, we need to test the goalkeeper more not try all this fancy build up.
Yes, and ideally we can start that process right this second and get Romero on for the remaining games... Why jeopardize it all now

Don't worry, I was trying to be funny because it's his birthday and he's over 30 (31).

Running theme on the Caf to add several years to players' age.
    I've missed that then :)

Read it again. Taibi was sold for less and you know he was. Tell me what player would be allowed to throw away our top 4 and champions league in 10 games and stay on under Fergie. I’ll wait
Taibi was sold because he was shit. If he’d been great for years before having a bad couple of months you’d have a point. He didn’t and you don’t. People like you are the worst amongst our support.

Can’t deny that. But we also need some quality in terms of ball retention at some stage if plan A doesn’t work out.
I think they need to find him quicker. I'm not sure Martial is the answer. Our energy would likely drop. I wouldn't change anyone at HT.

If you think Ferguson would sell de Gea this summer, you are being way too reactionary. Absurd.

Ridiculous to blame him for not dropping our best keeper in a crunch match like this. Not even Fergie would've done that, unless there s a clear reason his head is turned.
Fergie would've taken him out of the firing line weeks ago when it became clear that something is off mentally.

Dave has been great for us in the past but how is that helping us right now? We’d be fecking daft to tie him down with a long term contract.
That’s fine, but you’re selling him citing this run of form. That’s too far the other way.

Do you remember all the talk of De Gea being the GOAT, better than Schmeichel etc.

To be fair, he's still a world class goalkeeper, he's just on bad form. He'll be back.

Well even if that's the case it's his job to drill it in to them to not sit back if we go 1 up. It HAS to have been spoken about.

And as they sat back again I would say Ole has told them score 1 then try and pick them off on the counter. With how much he loves the counter I'm sorry but for me it was a strategic choice.

Stupid to put the team under pressure and invite situations where errors can be made.

I'm sick of it. It's fecking ridiculous. 1-1 did not need to happen regardless of David's error. What's the point in 20 minutes good work to self sabotage and cause 25 minutes of strain.
The manager isn’t in charge anymore. Woodward seen to that when he decided keeping players was more important.

Blaming Ole for Ddg's feck up, some of our fans are truly thick.
He picked him knowing his terrible form did he not? He was even asked by the press if he would play De Gea despite his poor form. Oles job is to pick the team most likely to win a game isn't it?

This is on Ole, he knew very well De Gea is very low on confidence and has played poorly for a longer period now.

Surely a mind thing now, hope he doesnt do a Karius.

Anyway, still 45 mins to go, at home, better team, AFC and THFC fu*ked up. No excuses not to win. Go out, play brave and do the job.

If we dont win this we dont deserve CL football, we dont deserve CL money and we dont deserve to get world class players in the summer.

    They've created nothing at all.

Anyone would be pleased with a defensive performance where the opponent's only chance is to take pot shots from 30 yards. If you can't trust your keeper to deal with those then you're in big trouble.
Perhaps so, but you cannot say that we will contain an opposition like that every game by sitting back. Higuain is slow so there is no worries in inviting balls over the top from our high press. So the best expectation for me is to continue how we started. Besides...the error came as a result of the change in approach, which in itself lays blame on the sitting back, not the GK (in hindsight)

Lukaku and Rashford have been so disappointing. De Gea has been so awful and painfully average this season . We will miss out on CL because of him .

Don’t agree with the Matic elbow point being made, I think he was just getting his arm out to shield the ball.

    Nothing in it at all.

DDG need to be sidelined for the rest of the season as he plays currently he is one of the worst GKs in the league. DDG is mimicking Fabian Barthez with huge mistakes this season and will likely cost us top 4. Romero is good enough and deserves to play
