55 points with Diop and Douglas Luiz to play. Glad I captained Kane over Sterling and kept Salah instead of switching him for KDB. Also the Zinchenko for VVD switch. Happy with my team and I think I used the WC well. Think it will hold up over the season minus the defence.

Adrian, Ryan

VVD, Diop/Lundstram/Soyuncu/Kelly

Martial, James, Salah, Sterling, Douglas Luiz

Kane, Abraham, Pukki

Nah it was right decision. No one expected Chelsea to do that to wolves away. Mount also scored last minute, so he could have easily ended on 2 points.
I kid, I think it's right in the long term just a bitter pill to swallow seeing Abraham score 5 in 2 weeks!

From what I read, he is well over his xG of 2.77.

I'm not bringing in Abraham just yet. He's been impressive but I think by the end of the season, Pukki and Haller will have better numbers.

I would be wary of Kelly, Pieters and Maitland Niles. All players who aren't in their teams first XI when everyone is fit.

2 United defenders is brave, an Arsenal defender is even braver/madness. Rico might be a better bet than Kelly who is injured and has probably lost his place in the team now.

You wait and see....now Big Dave has signed his contract we might keep another clean sheet between now and January! Know what you mean about Maitland-Niles but not many a million times better than him for that price (maybe a Southampton defender)...

Didn’t get as many points as I would have liked the last time. Son singlehandedly saved my fantasy this time round.

Those with Sterling and KDB. Have we backed ourselves into a corner ? Are we stuck with both for the rest of the season with their price increases. Getting rid of one of them now for a Son if he picks up some form might be worth a shout.

Martial often has these niggly little things that keep stretching on a week.
If we knew he was out say a month to start with wed have got on someone else!

Trying to decide if it is worth it to change Son for Sterling this week. City is playing Watford and I can see a big return from him, while Spurs is playing Leicester away, which is a more tougher fixture. I think I will just miss out on the .1 rise this week. Hopefully, Pep doesn’t become more of an arse and drop sterling this week.

I toyed with Tammy vs Haller and chose Haller ...typical!

I really need to make some moves, might end up having to do at least a -4. Any ideas?

Henderson/Pope

VVD/Kelly/Digne/Lundstram/Dunk
Salah/KDB/Sterling/Martial/Ceballos
Greenwood/Pukki/Haller

I've stuck by Martial and really hope he comes back and scores on the weekend.

Im exactly the same with Martial and Haller. I went back to the top of my league, due to second place having a shit week, but I know I should have a way bigger lead. Captained Sterling as well.

Yep, I also captained Sterling. 2 weeks in a row he's failed me!

Not really getting the hype over Haller..

Never had any joy with players in their first season in England and, to top it off, he plays for West Ham.

I've gone for Pukki and C. Wilson this week as Abraham is up against Liverpool and I've already got Mount. All the talk is about Pukki but Wilson has scored or assisted every game week so far.

Also, top shout that I'm not disclosing to anyone in person, Lamela is a low 6.~ points, absolute bargain considering the points he's bringing in.

Current squad.

Pope

Digne - VVD - TAA

McGinn - Salah - Sterling - Ceballos - Richarlison

Abraham - Pukki

Subs: Button - Lundstram - Greenwood - Kelly

Bank: 2.4m

Possible transfers over the next 2-3 weeks.

Option one - 442

Otamendi or Stones and Mount / Kelly and McGinn

Option two - 352

Pepe and Mount / Richarlison and Ceballos ( Arsenal got a good run of games and i see Pepe coming to life at some point )

Option three - 343

Dendonker, Mount, Jiminez and Martial / McGinn, Ceballos, Greenwood and Richarlison ( Wolves games will get easier and they will come good )

48. Shite week but not as bad as some I've seen. Most annoying thing was seeing the Spurs score and then logging in to check my Kane points....

I don't know why I knee jerked in Aurier for KWP either as he's just as much chance of not playing. Stupid drunken transfer.

Looking back now, I should have gone with instincts and gone for the player with the better team. I was worried Abraham might get rotated a bit more now there’s more fixture.

Rico vs Southampton or Lundstram vs Everton as my alternatives on the bench.

Now mount is injured, and probably not getting rushed back into the team too quickly as they have Pulisic, William, Pedro, Barkley and Hudson-Odoi coming back soon, I've done something that might bite me in the arse...

3 Norwich players. Buendia in for Mount to compliment Pukki and Cantwell.

Next 3 fixtures are Burnley (A), Palace (A) & Villa (H). No idea who's gunna win or lose these games but I am expecting a lot of goals!

Hmm. Team now looking a bit weak with Mount out.

Pope
Digne - TAA - Zinchenko - Lundstrum
Salah - Sterling (C) - KDB - Cantwell
Pukki - Haller

Mount was originally in for Lundy. That leaves Greenwood and Guilbert (villa away to arse) on the bench. Plus I have a nasty feeling Zinchenko will lose his place soon.
Tempted to leave it as is. And have 2FTs for next week.

Yeah I've got rotation worries in defence to with Zinchenko and now Aurier. I guess I'll just deal with it when it happens. Team next week is

Pope
Digne - Zinchenko - Aurier
Sterling - KDB - Lanzini - Cantwell
Pukki - Kane - Firmino

subs: Mount - Kelly - Lundstram

£1.3m in the bank. If the news on Mount isn't good I will probably take my first hit to move him out just to have some backup more than anything. Kelly will have to go soon too if he's lost his place. Tomori looks a bargain at £4.5m and Chelsea have a decent run after Liverpool.

Current Team

Pope
Lundstram Pieters Dunk
Salah Sterling KDB Cantwell McGinn
Aguero Haller

Subs: Pope, Kelly, Mings, Greenwood.

Bank: 0.4m

Champions League games have really thrown a spanner in the works. I expected Pep to start Aguero yesterday so Jesus would start the 'easier' game on the weekend against Watford at home. This would have enabled me to take out Aguero and McGinn for Wilson and Son. After Southampton, Bournemouth have decent fixtures and Son only playing 17 minutes last night will mean he's starting against Leicester.
If City don't do well, the team score minimal points as last weeks total of 41 showed. Idea is to make the team as balanced as possible over the next 5 game weeks.

Suggestion A

Pope
Lundstram Pieters Dunk
Mane Sterling KDB Mount Son
Abraham Haller

Subs: Pope, Kelly, Mings, Greenwood.

Bank: 0.3m

Suggestion B

Pope
Lundstram Pieters Dunk
Mane Sterling KDB Mount
Abraham Haller Firminho

Subs: Pope, Kelly, Mings, Cantwell.

Bank: 0.0m

Suggestion C

Pope
Lundstram Pieters Dunk
Mane Sterling KDB Buendia
Abraham Pukki Firminho

Subs: Pope, Kelly, Mings, Cantwell

Bank: 0.8m

Appreciate your thoughts peeps.

I like Team C out of all of them but I think you've skimped on defence too much and it'll cost you in the long run.

I agree with you. My thoughts were that teams are struggling to get clean sheets at the moment so no point wasting funds on premium defenders. Eventually as teams get into their rhythms, I can used whats in the bank and downgrade a midfielder or forward for a Digne/Trent AA or the like.

I wish you could play 253 this season... I've had no luck with any of the premium defenders this season so have sacked them off.

Pope
Soyuncu Lundstram Tomori
Salah Sterling KDB Mount
Aguero Abraham Pukki

Button Kelly Rico Cantwell

Would much prefer to play Cantwell than one of the defenders, hate having points sat on the bench :wenger:

Still think you want a Liverpool fullback.

Pope
Digne Robertson Mings
Salah Sterling KDB Mount
Barnes Abraham Pukki
