Should we drop him against Burrnley to avoid him getting suspension? But then again, Burnley has aerial presence means we need Maguire.

No, play against City and earn an yellow so that he is suspended against Watford

He has been absolutely immense recently. The best I have seen him in a United shirt.

Defended superbly against many dangerous balls. He deserves a lot of credit. More of this please.

That seems a crazy idea.

Surely the game you want Maguire for is the long ball, lots of crossing Burnley?

We'd need him more for that game than the Liverpool one arguably.

Sir Harry, the Great Wall of Manchester, the most minutes of any player in the world 19/20. We let in almost 30 goals less in his first season than the year before.

He gets harshly criticised quite a lot because of his price tag which was out of his hands. Maybe we over paid for him, I'd say by maybe £15m, not a huge amount, but he's been priceless for us.

Still only 27 too, so we could have him as our main CB for another 5/6 years.

Might not be worth 90 million but is starting to look like a good, steady United centre-half. Seems to like playing with Bailly.

We need him to play, and get booked, against City to get that suspension out of the way.

We’ll need him against Burnley and Liverpool.

Best way to go if the ban includes cup games, since we need him for the league games.

i think so. Harry needs some rest anyway. But will Lindelof be fit to play?
If there’s one team in the whole league that you would want Maguire to play against, it’s probably Burnley. There game is all about aerial balls and winning the second ball. Maguire is going to be crucial in that game. We can’t play Lindelof and Bailly as neither of them are very good at heading the ball or challenging aerially for it.

I'd play him against Burnley. Key against their style. Not the type of game he gets yellows in either, he usually gets booked because a faster attacker gets by him and he has to pull them down. If Chris Wood or Ashley Barnes are getting in behind us we have issues far greater than Maguire's suspension. Don't think he'll get booked unless he catches one of their diving shithouse cnuts with an elbow or something.

I reckon he can avoid a booking by not charging out at times (but then again maybe not)

He can be really good when he gets the ball and pings it out wide. He's done that quite a bit recently

He's 100% going to be booked against Burnley and miss the Liverpool game

Everyone loved that last ditch flying tackle from Baily, but how did the captain get beaten so easily by the young striker? Its just weird how calmly the guy is able to win the ball, pause, line up a shot 10 yards out from goal, and Harry is standing right there doing NOTHING!

Instead of celebrating with the lads at the whistle, I wish Baily would have been screaming and cussing at his CB partner there. Wake up man, its the last seconds and you are allowing a young substitute to create a shot in our box?!?!

Goal aside (and honestly, what was that about!?) I thought he was really really good.

Unfortunately the goal is a thing that happened.

He is atrocious in both ends of the box on set pieces. Misses so many chances and terrible at defending them.

No point playing well when you defend a set piece like that.

I have some sympathy for their goal. Any touch and it's probably an O.G but what one earth is up with his offensive heading? I swear he must be into double figures for the season now for free headers from corners.

Mental he's getting sole blame for the goal, what about those at the front post? What about Shaw who lost Stones in the first place?

Actually thought he did pretty well apart from the first goal.

Oh well, apart from that, why do we persist on targeting him in corners ? Just stop, target Pogba or Martial for a change.
