I have nothing against Bielsa like a lot on here seem to have for some reason. Sure they play naively, but they're comfortably safe from relegation with a pretty poor squad and playing enjoyable stuff. Think most supporters would rather be Leeds fans right now rather than support Newcastle who play shit on a stick football and pray for a set-piece every week. Leeds fans are cnuts of course, but I'm speaking purely in entertainment terms. It's weird that the Caf hates teams that sit back and park 10 behind the ball, but have also developed a hate boner for a manager who does the exact opposite.

Leeds have been awful today though, one of their worst displays of the season for sure.

Brighton really do play some nice football.

Their finishing is just appalling though, if they had a good striker they'd be comfortably mid table.

Someone with some technical knowledge needs to clip the way Antonio won the free kick at around the 58th minute.

Leeds has been so flat, I think Brighton finally is going to get their win.

Dan Burn must be one of the worst players i've ever seen in the PL.

He's League 1 level at best.

Poor Sheffield Utd. Finally got a win and everyone above them picked up points too.

Players adopting Bruno's attitude and work rate, which has got us top?
Think players like Lingard, James, Pereira, etc all worked hard. They just didn't have quality. With Bruno, not only have we kept the work rate, but added much more quality to the side and it has clearly shown.

I'm with you on this

Though I think the media over exaggeration has made a lot of people take the piss out of them. Especially when they lost to us and media made them into heroes seemingly

Ffs. That Chelsea line up is awful, no Callum and Jorginho in the middle. I give in, Frank doesn't want us to win..

I think it's largely rooted in the reaction from the media to our drubbing of them.

Yes, the media wankfest over them has been over the top, shame it's been used as a stick to beat Bielsa with.

I think it's because anyone can just wildly go all out attack.
Attacking play is great, but not if you're constantly conceding sh!tloads, like some poor man's Keegan mid 90s outfit.

Brighton may have won, but fair play to Leeds for losing like that, a real breath of fresh air, very brave

When they were in the Championship, they tended to tire around Feb/March and their football wasn't as expansive as they've shown so far this season, once they tired. Maybe the sheer intensity and congested fixture pile up is tiring them earlier than usual?

Absolutely possible. Much harder chasing around Prem players than Championship players as well

The Leeds media love in will he tucking their tales between their legs after that today. Their defensive naiveness should be called out after another poor home defeat.

Not keen on that lineup, at all. Therefore we will win tonight.

Dread to think the media reaction if we don't

Well then why doesn't Bruce do it if it's so easy? He has better players than Leeds at his disposal. I'm no purist/elitist that believes you have to attack or keep the ball a certain way to play good football by the way, but it really isn't so simple. It might not lend itself to being a dominant winning side, but I don't think Leeds are all that bothered.

I'm wondering what you expect Leeds to achieve this season? Their fans were happy just with staying up, it's their first season back in almost 20 years for fecks sake. Bielsa has them comfortably midtable playing football their supporters enjoy. Isn't football about the fans at the end of the day?

The media wankfest has clouded too many's judgement of them. If you want to dislike Leeds just dislike them for being Leeds! That's a much better reason. I just enjoy putting on their games because it's almost guaranteed entertainment value on both ends of the pitch.

Fulham will give Chelsea a good game given what I saw of them v Spurs and Liverpool in recent weeks.

First goal and I reckon they'll win the game. Will be interesting watch.

He’s such an odd player. How can he be so effective, yet so shit, all at the same time? Always been that way too. No manager wants to make him a fixture in their starting XI, despite him scoring loads of goals.
It looks as if the side needs to play in a certain way to get the best out of him and Frank only selects him when the team goes to pot, which is too often for his liking.
He cant seem to coach interchangable, attacking patterns but he keeps trying, fails, and then its James spamming crosses to Giroud to give him some breathing space.
Look at tonights side, he isnt even hiding it now.

he doesn’t score loads that’s the issue. 16 is his best total in the league. It’s not enough for a star striker at a top club. He scores some nice goal and some really smart goals just not enough.

Why are the seats at Craven Cottage so old fashioned. They look wooden and thought they weren't allowed in the top flight following the Bradford Fire.
