Tying him up on a new contract was our best move of the season. Him + Gabriel, Tierney, Martinelli, Smith-Rowe, Saliba (:nervous:) is a good core to build on. Leno, Auba and Partey are strong players to put around but we lack 3 top players for this squad to challenge for top 4.

Wish we’d have nabbed him in the summer. He’s Arsenal’s best player.

He reminds me so much of Kevin, albeit stylistically different. I just trust him to make the right choice with the ball all the time, and progress his team forward.

Top class though. Wish he’d have opted for Nigeria too!

Need's to work on his finishing. There has been many occasion's where he's spoiled a decent chance to bag a goal. Still only 19 so has got plenty of time to develop this skillset.

In terms of Arsenal going forward, it would be great if he can develop on that right hand side as an inverted winger cutting in.

Would help keep the inconsistent Pepe & the semi retired Willian out the team, & allow Martinelli a chance to play on his favoured position. Perhaps coming inside on his favoured foot would allow better goalscoring opportunities for him as well, & he can develop that side of his game.

He's a good player, particularly got excellent movement and is a battler, but he's getting overhyped a bit - for me he's either going to develop into a nice full back or a CM at this point, you can't be as bad at finishing as him and play on the wing or as a forward for a top club.

Wing back seems the ideal position for him imo. Saka on one side and James on the other for England is a very tasty prospect indeed.

Was an absolute joy to watch on a really difficult surface tonight. Him and Martinelli on the wings with Partey coming back in the midfield looks the way forward for Arsenal going forward.

Having watched every arsenal game this season, he has been a standout quality player. Felt like he was carrying them at times. Just seems to get better with each game. England really are going to be spoilt with forwards in the coming years with the likes of Sancho, Grealish and Greenwood in the mix too.

Revaluation on the Greenwood comparison?
I think they're different players, Greenwood's finishing sets him apart where Saka is more about creating chances and bursting on a flank. Hopefully he can get a go with England instead of being a wingback.

You could tell even last season — he was comfortably their best player despite playing LB and LWB a lot of the time. He’s a really good prospect.

I applaud your efforts, though if you watched us under Moyes/LVG/Mourinho you'll have built a strong intolerance to shite!

I’ll be honest, I’ve only been watching them because I like to watch AFTV at the same time. The entertainment has been quality! If they keep winning I’m sure I’ll be switching off sooner like I did today!

No I don't think so. Greenwood's quieter second season is absolutely par for the course. When you watch him on the ball he still has that undeniable feel of quality in everything he does.

There's only one youngster in the whole league I wouldn't swap for Saka, and it's Greenwood.

Doesn't help that Greenwood was dicking around on international duty.
Well Foden was back in the last squad and it looks like Greenwood wasn't back in the squad because of what has happened to his friend Jeremy Wisten.

Southgate only rates Chillwell as left-back/left-wing-back therefore this free place as back-up should go to Saka (wherever Saka would play in a match).

If the tournament would start tomorrow then the forward options in the 3-4-3 system would be Kane, Rashford, Sterling, Sancho, Grealish and Calvert-Lewin.......Greenwood must improve his form to get one of this places and actually Barnes is ahead of him in the pecking order too in my opinion.
Greenwood will probably be in the squad for the first part of the U21 Euros in March.

Based on form at the moment, he's playing better than Greenwood. He looks fantastic; like him a lot.

Very rare to see such a young player show so much maturity in their game.

This guy is such a genuine talent. I don't think it's unreasonable to argue that he's on par with Sancho

This is why I hate Arsenal fans.
Why do you get so worked up because I compared Saka to Sancho?

It's not an unreasonable suggestion. Sancho One is the best player in a team in the EPL while the other plays for Bvb (with all due respect to Bundesliga fans) in a far easier league. Why do you hate Arsenal fans?
Because they don't generally share the same opinion with you or conform to the Car narrative?

Brilliant player, it is different once teams figure you out. Sancho has done it on the European stage, Saka needs to do it in the CL before comparisons with Sancho are made.

Sure, he is a wonderful player and talent but young players can be inconsistent with their form
