    De Gea
    Dalot - Bailly - Maguire - Telles
    McTominay - Fred
    Sancho - VDB
    Greenwood - Ronaldo
Rashford and Bruno absolutely should be dropped for this one but I doubt it'll happen. I hope Cavani makes the bench because I'd rather not see Ronaldo play the full 90 mins either.

I‘d be very surprised if he picks the same lineup. One or more attacking players is being replaced

The most obvious changes are benching Rashford and Fernandes

We're just a bus stop in Hounslow and we own that but leave off with the Stoke 2.0 comments - I know a lot of it is born out of ignorance but Thomas Frank is no Tony Pulis for a start ;)

Looking forward to Tuesday, it's nights like this I'd never thought I'd see supporting Brentford for 30 odd years and I am loving the ride. See you Tuesday the lucky few who got one of the few away tickets available.

What about those of us who are going to jib your home end?

    Across the Universe....from Old Trafford.
Its scary how quick these games are coming up.
    3 days?
    And Brentford are very good.

Bruno, Ronaldo and Rashford have to come off the bench.
Greenwood, Donny and Elanga should start. Or will Ralf start Martial?
Fred and McT did a great job and must surely start.
    Bailly for Lindeloff.
    Otherwise same defence

    De Gea is a beast.

Would expect Bailly and Greenwood to start. Lindelof shouldn’t be risked. Also expect Varane to come on for game time in the 2nd half.

Think we all now understand both McT and Fred are essentials for the time being. Nice to see they aren’t being as slated as much recently.

Although both Telles and Dalot were pretty ineffective going forward today I’d still expect them to keep their places. Today was a poor performance but generally we look ok at the back so far under Ralf so no need to change them

Hope we can get Varane and Cavani back soon. We will need them in this xmas run in. Going for a 2-1 win to United. Brentford have certainly been making their mark this season.
Yeah but I doubt either of them will be in for this game. Maybe Cavani on the bench. They have better chances of appearing against Brighton.

Cavani, Greenwood, Bailly and Elanga to all come in for me. Possibly Donny for Bruno too.

Ralf stresses the physical commitment and challenge. Basically a nice way of telling our players you can't be divas on the pitch and to put in the hard yards.

I can see Shaw getting a game. Not sure about Lindelof but obviously if he can't play it will be Bailly.

I also would freshen up the forwards. I felt that Rashford was better towards the end against Norwich when Sancho came off. He was the left of the second 2. Be tempted to play him there if he's to start.

I see why people are switching Bruno but do we really think VDB has his vision and range of passing for that role? I'm not so sure. Pogba yes but Donny likes to play short one touch passes. I think in that two you need to be able to either beat your man or have a good passing range in order to quickly force the play.

    Dalot——-Lindelof—Maguire—Shaw

    ————McTominay—VdB—————

To bench Bruno, Ronaldo, rashford, Sancho who were horrible yesterday. Really think the attacking half was dreadful. So need to freshen personnel upfront

If you don’t feel optimistic then I will remind you one thing that Norwich beat Brentford this season.

Not going to be easy, but we should be expected to win. Wonder if any of Varane/Cavani will be back, drop Rashford for Greenwood and maybe Shaw/Telles, hoping for a better display but just one day to properly train and maybe 3 days of discussions/video footage. I can't imagine huge huge changes but the team is a bit better organised.

It would be United's most comfortable victory under Rangnick regime but we might concede a goal here .
Don't agree with the negativity at all in here.

Brentford will be up for this. They’ve looked good against the big teams this season so people expecting an easy win should look at yesterday. Rashford shouldn’t play. Hopefully Cavani is fit to make an appearance.

Varane has trained all week as has Shaw.

    What I’d like to see.
    DDG
AWB Varane (bailly if still not fit enough) Maguire Shaw.

    Mct Fred

    Greenwood VDB Sancho

    Ronaldo

Why? Look how Shaw played last season when under pressure for his place.
Plus he knows the manager doesn’t rate him.

AWB is our best tackler, it has to be about clean sheets at the moment.

Varane is without a doubt our best defender.

McT and Free as we are choice less.

Greenwood as Rashford was rubbish yesterday.
VDB I think Bruno needs a holiday for 3 to 4 games.

Ronaldo as he’s our only scorer at the moment.

Yesterday I came back to Earth with a bump, we need to play the players who want it most.

Difficult to see a win here if I am honest. Brentford are a lot more physical than Norwich plus the crowd are a lot more vocal too, can't see how we won't stop them being all over us. Hoping for a 1-1 but I think it will end up 2-1 Brentford.

RR said they will start proper training on Monday so I doubt they will be ready in time, which is a shame as we really could use both of them, especially Cavani with his pressing up front!

These lads are fit quick and well drilled everything United are not.
    We have good individual players.

This could be very bad and it will be if we perform like the Norwich performance

I looked at our PL fixtures for the next month or so a week ago & thought that they were very winnable & despite a very poor performance against Norwich I am still expecting UTD to win this game.

    11-0 win.

Telles 4, Dalot 4, Fred 4, but clapped the refs butt before scoring the 30m screamer so the 4th is disallowed.

This has 'annual loss to newly promoted team' written all over it. I'd be surprised if we get a point.

Hearing a few whispers of a Covid outbreak at Utd and the game in doubt. On a few other forums.

I don't actually think Ronaldo and Greenwood would work well together but Rashford stunk last game. I'd bring Shaw back and I'd be tempted to recall AWB too but will give Dalot another chance.
