I don't think it's impossible to believe that Ten Haag wanted him gone. Ronaldo never said that he wanted to leave, just some journalists speculated on it. A lot of people have it in for Ronaldo, probably because of 09.

Again everybody jumping to conclusions based on a video which is what, 5 seconds long?

He might spend the rest of the interview talking about much he likes playing cribbage with ETH and how he's befriended the postmaster in Carrington

Don't know what I'm more fecked off with.
The interview or the fact that he chose Morgan to interview him.
Wish he just fecks off now.

Wow! This is genuinely hilarious. I’ve thought he was a twat since he forced himself out first time but he’s really upping his game here. He’s an absolute basket case.

Isn’t this the kind of interview you’d expect once he’s left the club???…..he’s still a serving United player, slamming the club that pays him £500k a week

I think it’s contract tearing up time and a kick out the door

Anyone still trying to play mental gymnastics to defend Ronaldo from now on should be instantly banned. You’re either a United fan or a Ronaldo fan. You can’t be both.

I cannot wait until the day he is finally gone from the club and we never have to talk about him again. Well done on completely destroying your legacy. Prick.

Is he really trying to argue that we forced Jorge Mendes to offer him around, against his will apparently and then leaked that to the press as proof he wanted to leave? And they just stood idly by and watched (and participated in) it happening? That's....an opinion, I'll give him that.

Spot on to be fair.
I’m guessing this interview happened after the Villa league game. feck him, he wanted to leave. The man refused to go to pre season!
It isn't, though. If he had never heard of Rangnick, he can't be much of a student of the game.

Does he really think this kind of shithousery is going to find him a new club? Even Papa Fergie might finally realise what Ronaldo has always been now.

This was always an Ole shitshow of a signing.
Tbf it's unfair to lay the blame squarely at Ole's feet. SAF called the guy to prevent him going to City, plus the added pressure of former players like Rio and Neville speaking out. Ole was put in a no-win situation with that shit. He could have (and should have) vetoed, but imagine the fecking uproar if he'd gone to City (who would've won the league anyway even with him in the team). Most fans wanted him back at the time.

I hope to god that we have the balls to cancel his contract.
thats what he wants. And this is just a move in the game to give it to him. feck that. Should let him rot or tell him he can go if someone stumps up a fee

The quicker we get rid of him, the better. Should’ve gone in the summer.
