When it comes to doing any transfer work, however, it's Eintracht Frankfurt and Barcelona that are active. Tier 2:

'Beaking News': Anthony Martial is injured and unavailable for the first team. Surely that should just be labelled 'status quo'.
The only reason the agent brought that part up is because of reports elsewhere about Martial being "banished" from training with the first team. Anyways, that's not the important part for this thread. The agent's words 100% rule out any sort of departure for Martial until the summer.

Bergvall and Hugo Larsson would be a great combo in central midfield, from what I’ve seen of them. Sweden would benefit from them playing together at club level and I can see them both moving onto a bigger club in 2-3 years.

All this talk of summer targets is a little disheartening. I’d love a striker this window so we can actually start scoring some goals!
Yeah we seem content to leave Rasmus as the only number 9 until the summer. Club needs to realise he needs an experienced striker to learn from. That definitely isn't Rashford or Martial.

Official: Mateo Mejia is sold to Sevilla. His contract will run until 2026.

Seen him play a few times and was never really thar impressed.

He will no doubt go on to be brilliant now that I've said that.

Yeah and the club, manager and his coaching staff need to relise we have played 21 games in the league and -5 goal difference to show. Will it get any better with what we have currently.

Getting in someone now on loan is important. Still have some big league games to come.

Nobody is coming in. Clearout and rebuild in summer. Going to be a long road to the end of the season with ETH trying to get this clapped out Banger of a team to the finish line.

I'm still confident we will be signing a player on loan, I see no point in getting rid of Regulion otherwise.

Still no sign of Malacia any time soon and Shaw is injured more often than not.

I mean based on work to date Murtough is getting sacked. You'd think he'd do something to try and save his job. We need goals in the team and after moving sancho and selling a bunch of kids theres room for one signing surely.

Nah - considering what he has been through in terms of injuries, it would be a miracle if he turned out to have a decent career. Probably the most injury-plagued player I remember during my time as a United-fan, at least if you remove those who still have a playing career. When he joined United, he was something out of the ordinary - but he has been injured about 75% of the time he has been a the club. Sad for us and especially sad for him.

Would be really happy if he went on to have a really good career, but I don't believe it

His first ever game in academy I think he scored a goal and looked brilliant and I was going this kid could be the real deal as he was a big signing from Spain and then I think bang, long term injury? I was so disappointed. Same what happened with Willy K.

His ankle apparently was so messed up post that injury. He seemed to lose a good 2 years of really important development and doesn't look the same since. I hope he has a good career though, will definitely follow him post this.

Due to the recent Bergvall mention:

Source (Tier 1):
Bergvall-Barça issue.

A clarification. The idea of Barcelona is to close the signing of Lucas Bergvall now for June. The player would not arrive in January.

Bergvall has already said yes and Barça are ready to present the final offer.

Due to the recent Yoro links:

Source (Tier 3):
  • As revealed in November, Lenny Yoro is PSG's priority this winter. Despite the difficulties, Campos is continuing to push for the Lille man!
  • The Diego Llorente dossier is still on the table (contrary to the denials)! Those close to Campos met this week to try and move the dossier forward.

Considering how shite our midfield options are I really think he should've been given a go. Whenever we send a player out on loan that's pretty much the end of their United career, realistically. Disappointed with this.

He looks considerably small for the mens game though. I'm very surprised it's fecking Port Vale, but a proper half season of mens football will be very good for him.

I haven't seen Brobbey play - but I seriously doubt he is the kind of player we should be looking at.
