He's probably the best striker we've had since RVP, when you consider his age and potential. Ibra and Cavani obviously were great, but I'm much more excited to see this guy on the pitch watching him develop into a total beast.

Imagine he had a Giggs and a Beckham servicing him. Potentially got a 25 goal a season striker on our hands

Should get your facts right I advocated for his signing.

Saying the club overpaid (which they did) doesn’t negate that. However feel free to keep arguing
Could turn out to be a bargain, especially when you look at the quality of players being bought for similar fees nowadays.

Aside from the 2 goals, I was really impressed with his hold up play and physical strength today - he was excellent.

Outwith the goals for the first 20 minutes or so his hold up was terrible, everything bouncing off him and he was really struggiling. Then all of a sudden he turned in to Drogba. The difference from that first 20 minutes to how he ended up holding up the ball was night and day.

Held it up, spun people and best of all was picking the right options when it came to passing. Hopefully he continues scoring as I’m hoping he is quite a rounded finisher and really just want to see what else he has in his locker.

He's literally getting maybe 1 chance created for him a game even on this hot streak

Both of his goals today were just individual quality again
Yep. His goals were from a defensive feck up and inventing a finish out of absolutely nothing from a scuffed shot.

I'd be curious as to how many actual assists there are for his goals so far (as opposed to accidental stuff like the Garnacho one for his second today). Feels like Rashford maybe actually passed to him for a couple, but I'm struggling to remember many beyond that.

His availability for the rest of the season is vital for us.

It is a bit funny that all the goals he's been scoring recently haven't really been from chances the team has created for him.
He then missed the 1 big chance they did

He’s in superb form. Really happy to see it. That goal with the flick of the chest  unreal

Imagine when our main creator starts to look and find him?

I actually dont know how Bruno has gone the whole season without building a connection with him.

Can we get a bump for the posts that were righting him off after 5 games?

It was clear from before we signed him that he had attributes that could potentially propel him as a elite striker. First of all he was a central focal point which alot of other players we were linked to were not. It was clear that he had the ability to hold the play with his back to goal but due to his age we'd have to be a little patient. And then on top of that he had the pace and power along with potentially elite ball striking abilities which I'm sure we'll see alot more of in the coming months and years.

We paid £60m for him with £4m add ons and the rest being hard to achieve add ons per reports. And if you compare that with how Luis Campos and PSG did in comparison to signing Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos, I think we did very well as you can see below.

PSG went ahead and signed both Kolo-Muani and Goncalo Ramos for big fees.

If he improves his passing accuracy and first touch he will be top class
Even though I agree with you, some of his through balls after holding the ball up have been outstanding this season. Shame he couldn't pass to himself.

Could’ve had his first hattrick for us this game. I like that his confidence is growing with every game, yet he’s still putting in absolute shifts pressing and chasing down the ball. Absolute star!

Hat trick against Fulham and he’s 1 in 2.

But all nonsense aside, it was clear from the moment he came on at the Emirates that he could be a problem in the Premier League.

I’m delighted that he’s gambling and scoring a range of goals.

It’s conceivable he finishes the season with 20 goals which would be a great return after the poor start domestically.

He's doing it all now the goals have started coming. He's got all the attributes needed to be a top goalscorer.

His linkup play is improving as well. Looks strong when holding up the ball with his back to the goal. And of course he scores goals.

I admit, he is better than Wout. :nervous:

Heading is a dying art isn’t it…but you’d hope Rasmus can add that to his game in the coming years.
I really hope so because if he does he’s gonna be possibly the most complete forward around

I mean look at Haaland, outside of World class finishing, he’s a poor excuse for a footballer. Ian rush on roids

Basically managing a 1-in-2 goal ratio now this season. That's pretty amazing for a young striker playing his first season in England, in a side which up until a month ago couldn't make chances.

Pleased to say that I wanted him badly in the summer and he's turned out to be exactly as good as I expected. He'll be a top player for us, and I just hope we can bring in decent players around him at some point

Bang on. Especially the Emirates point. He looked like he was going to run and run and give defenders a game.

He goals he has got recently has meant he is far more confident in himself Vs defenders. He has been holding the ball up brilliantly and having garnacho on the right means there's a much bigger chance of the ball coming into the box for him.

I would have been happy with 10 goals all in all this season, as long as there was progression next year. He's got that already. Can he get to 20?

A left winger brought in in the summer, who wants to creat rather than head down run into blind alleys will bring him on more too.
Delighted with him
