As long it is a democratic decision, no problem then. The Palestanians can not whine about the result.

I don’t think it’s calculated to do so. I don’t know much about her specifically but Israelis who engage in that kind of rhetoric tend to believe that worldwide antisemitism (as they understand it) is the status quo whatever Israel’s actions, and that in the context of the Middle East mass displays of Israeli power/force/“strength” are the only real means to counter its effects. Particularly so when Israel has just been made to look incredibly weak and dumb.Tweet

@2cents do they see it in their interests to increase anti-Semitism worldwide? They seem to be going out of their way (this+ all the stars of David in the Gazan ruins) to make the association between the religion anf murderous violence as prominent as possible, somewhat like ISIS.
I think this is just what she is, not different from her fellow terrorists in the Netanyahu government.Tweet

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/apr/20/may-golan-israel-new-york-consular-role"Golan made a political name for herself by denouncing African refugees in Israel, calling them “Muslim infiltrators”, criminals and rapists. She said many have Aids, suggested they were spreading HIV by working as waiters, and demanded they be expelled from the country.
“If I am racist for wanting to defend my country and for wanting to protect my basic rights and security, then I’m a proud racist,” she said at a political rally in 2013 as a member of the far-right Jewish Power party, a descendent of the Kach party that was outlawed under Israeli anti-terrorism laws.
You're giving her too much credit.I don’t think it’s calculated to do so. You can actually do what he's talking about without consequences, apparently.was he really referring to Palestinian children? Can he say that without consequences?
Not giving her any credit at all, like I said, I don’t know her beyond that she is obviously a racist/supremacist. But part of that racism is the belief that Arabs only understand force and power. You're giving her too much credit.
Her ability to think is limited to racism, hatred towards anyone who isn't jewish/is jewish but not on her political side, whatever her base wants to hear and serving Netanyahu.
It's astounding how she is spouting off like a deranged TV news guest, or twitter user on their 16th hour of trolling arguments.I don’t think it’s calculated to do so. Sadly enough, he is from Tennessee. There will be no repercussions from such atrocious speech.was he really referring to Palestinian children? Can he say that without consequences?
He absolutely can, and he 100% meant it too.was he really referring to Palestinian children? Can he say that without consequences?

Its fine, Geriatric Joe will sanction a few more settlers (who will laugh it off) and claim the US is already doing enough, all the while legislating to ban boycotts and ordering his UNSC rep to veto any resolution aimed at condemning said settlements.Tweet

Since forever really when the goal is to deprive Palestinians of their rights. When did the US start parroting Russian talking points. Crazy world
Well yeah, Hamas runs their operations and data centre under UNRWA premises so they cannot be trustedSomething something tunnels... something something Hamas.
Do you listen to yourself? They bombed people who are starving and desperate for food and this is your reaction? feck me...Well yeah, Hamas runs their operations and data centre under UNRWA premises so they cannot be trusted
Israel seems to have stopped trying to show tunnels that they've found. You'd think with most of Gaza flattened, depopulated and in ruins, they'd be uncovering tunnels left, right and centre. Probably realised that they don't have to bother pretending any more.Well yeah, Hamas runs their operations and data centre under UNRWA premises so they cannot be trusted

Part of the assessment read as follows:It’s appears once again Israel was lying

Low confidence = credible = stop funding aid. Great job, good effort, carry on.WSJ said:In the new report, which was completed last week, the U.S.’s National Intelligence Council, a group of veteran intelligence analysts, said it assessed with “low confidence” that a handful of Unrwa staffers participated in the Oct. 7 attack, those familiar with the findings said.
A low-confidence assessment indicates that the U.S. intelligence community believes the claims are plausible but cannot make a stronger assertion because it doesn’t have its own independent confirmation. The U.S. concluded the claims are “credible,” a U.S. official said.
I’m curious as to what you’d need to start doubting Israel/your preconceptions? Because they’ve said so many things that have turned out to be inflated or outright lies.Well yeah, Hamas runs their operations and data centre under UNRWA premises so they cannot be trusted

Spox John Kirby when inevitably asked about this: we continue to closely cooperate with Israel and if we have concerns, we'll share those concerns.
I get that Israel is a strategic alley in the region but at some point there’s got to be a level of self respect from the United States.Low confidence = credible = stop funding aid. Great job, good effort, carry on.
Sigh. This was proved to be yet another load of absolute bollocks. How can you keep repeating this stuff when there is no evidence to support it aside from the initial accusations that normally come right before somewhere is attacked or straight after it was destroyed. You continuously ask others for proof of what they post yet you constantly post relentless accusations and outright lies.Well yeah, Hamas runs their operations and data centre under UNRWA premises so they cannot be trusted
Was it actually false? Or was it exaggerated?Sigh. This was proved to be yet another load of absolute bollocks. The reports by media that found the claims of dozens of UNWRA employees working for Hamas to be false, it seems the claims about the operations and data centre are also unverified tooWas it actually false? Or was it exaggerated?
I get that there are more questions than answers. But the pictures in this article about the data centers are...fake then? The reports by media that found the claims of dozens of UNWRA employees working for Hamas to be false, it seems the claims about the operations and data centre are also unverified too
They allegedly found a tunnel network close to the building but there was no operations or data centre, and it wasn't directly underneath as claimed in the post I quoted or as claimed in many pro Israel media outlets. As with everything climed so far there is no irrefutable evidence and lots more questions than answers.

“You do not represent Palestine as much as we do. Never forget this one point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian entity, there is only Syria. You are an integral part of the Syrian people, Palestine is an integral part of Syria. Therefore it is we, the Syrian authorities, who are the true representatives of the Palestinian people. [Addressing the Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization Yasser Arafat]”
