Everytime you watch Madrid or check one of their results vinicius junior scores.

He's actually only got 2 more goals than Holjund this season.

There are two Roy Keanes.

The clean shaven and humourless, physically abusive deputy headmaster who works for Sky Sports and the bearded and jovial, piss taking uncle who appears on The Overlap.

- Flying headers became illegal in the early 2000s
- City only starts giving everything when the opposition takes the lead.
- A defender who could barely defend, but was good on the ball did not exist pre-2000s.

Chelsea's players are all regens of ex players, and their third choice centre back is a French u21 international.

Klopp's 3 centre midfielders are all bang average but play like world beaters.

Andros Townsend has just scored a screamer for a side battling relegation.

Short sleeved goalkeepers shout a lot and make mistakes.

That we've all spent the last 10 years trying to figure out what the problem is with United but nothing would work. It's a curse which nothing can be done about and maybe it's karma for all the glory days. We could have Pep in charge with 11 of the best players in the world and we'd struggle.

It’s called the Glazers.

Anthony Gordon would be friends with Malfoy if he was a wizard and at Hogwarts.

Guillermo Ochoa and Jorge Campos are the only Mexican goalkeepers that have ever existed.

Every time a team goes to extra time with their next match only 2-3 days away, they go on to win their next match with ease

You very rarely get players rounding the keeper any more. Or running through on goal from 40 yards out.
Or players trying chips.

Presumably all due to players becoming more physical machines these days. And keepers all being giants.

Is it better to round the keeper?

It's hard and there is usually a defender running back at full speed, the extra few second it takes to go round the keeper allows the defender to make up a few yards. What's more the player is often unbalanced when they take a shot and they often have to do it quickly.

I’ve heard rumours that Luke Shaw tries a lot of chips. And to be fair it’s understandable it doesn’t happen as much at United anymore, since Moyes banned them.

Used to be a brilliant option when through v a keeper.
They're running out and you'll either get taken down or have an empty net

There's a game we lost to Arsenal 3-1 in 2002. It was the Barthez howlers match. Ljungberg chipped Barthez who wasn't that far out and it bounced on the line. I always thing we'd never see a goal like that these days. Chips are extremely rare, saw it so much in the 90s

Always makes me chuckle when internet fans have a go at superfit premier league players' physiques.

I know football is technically "better" in every way these days.
But you couldn't beat those proper 4-4-2 days in the mid 90s, where you'd have pacy wingers who actually tried to cross it on their strong foot, and actually had 2 strikers to hit.
