Just tuned in now and blimey, can’t believe we are only 1 point behind . Thought we’d be 20 down at this point.

To the people that matter.
if i had my way i’d be means testing anyone coming to the rugger. you’d need to bring three months payslips, showing you earn at least 6 figures, and the stewards should be checking your phone contacts for a rupert, hubert, barnaby or ophelia. if you don’t meet both criterion, off to the pub to watch football you pop.

The longer it goes on like this the more I'd fancy Scotland.
Before the game, I was just hoping we’d keep the scoreline respectable and not turn it into a cricket score. So therefore will take this scoreline.

I think the opposite. They’re making a lot more tackles. That will catch up with them eventually. At least it should do. In theory :nervous:

The u20s last night was similar. Superb Scotland defence meant an extremely close first half but they ran out of gas and completely collapsed in the final quarter. Fingers crossed, eh?

Dreadful stuff, Ireland have got worse by the week in this Championship and are only ahead because they're playing a perenially unserious team.

Scotland have defended irelands multiphase really well. They’ve managed to slow irelands ball down just enough without overcommitting to the ruck.

Unfortunately they’ve threatened feck all with the ball, but the next 40 minutes have a bit of pressure on now and Ireland might shit the bed a little

I have no idea either, yet.

Hopefully. I'd just fear the QF and the England match might get into their heads.

It would be the most Scottish thing to beat Ireland today. A year when we could have won it all…I just feel like we’ll get a result here and it could be the most painful of victories.

Although our 2nd half form has been awful of late so inevitably Lowe hat trick incoming.

They’ve been flat for sure. But Scotland have made 2 tackles for every one we’ve made. That has to tell, eventually.

It fecking better. I’m not sure I can take another disappointment. The U20s last night nearly broke me.
Logic would say that, but it’s more about how twitchy Ireland get if the score stays within one try. I’m not sure this Scotland team will lose because they’re tired.

Yeah, I think the result of this game is dependent on Ireland's heads. And that call won't have helped.
