Well no point getting up early for the gp tomorrow. Leclerc down in 5th.

The merc is a crap car. 0.8 off pole is a huge gap.

Couple of quality laps from Verstappen there, pulled it out of the bag. Ferrari certainly looked like the favourites going into Q3, but falling short somehow. Something definitely didn't click for Leclerc.

Commendable effort from Tsunoda beating the Astons and Hamilton. Mercedes are awful

You're predictable
Well we get some stupid dumbass comments on here about max. Obviously if you put him in the Mercedes this weekend he'd be on pole because he's max and defy the laws of physics.

Edit: probably more frustrated that the season is another bore fest again.

Have to be honest could not be bothered getting up early to see Max get pole.
But WTF are Mercedes doing, utter shite by them both.
They are a 1 hit wonder and that hit was there engine, everyone bar alpine has caught up, there aerodynamics was never worldbeating it was just enough during there era of dominance.

Just seen this posted about Hamilton.
simply put ,he is leaving the team, their focus is on the future not the past , so he won't get the quickest car now. Or any real knowledge of what new parts/ upgrades are in the making. Just a fact of life in any job when your notice goes in.

Interesting take and maybe true.

Yes it was dull when bottas was Hamilton's teammate. But at least we had interteam battles between rosberg and Hamilton. Then for two seasons battle with vettel and Hamilton.

This is currently like watching shit on a stick.

That's actually very stupid. He is still their driver this year, If he is the better driver, they would rather maximise the potential of better driver and use him this year than give it to Russel and risk the use of development.

So many excuses for Hamilton, it's amazing, why some of you just can't maybe, for one second, think that the age is catching him and he is not so special that he used to be? It seems that people have used every single excuse in these past two years, except that, which is the only logical explanation, apart from average car obviously.

How is it possible that absolutely no one here suspects that 39 year old F1 driver can't be the same quality he was few years ago when he was few years younger?
