I still have Arsenal winning it because they came so close last season. Arsenal or City. Liverpool will finish third.

Liverpool back on top of the table and should stay there this weekend should Arsenal not win this afternoon. With nine games to play it's Liverpool's league title to lose.

Fecking Brighton the most annoying team to watch the way the feck about with ball, no wonder Liverpool won.

Any how it’s down to the mighty gunners now to stuff city and get back on top of the league and knock that Scouse shit and their gurning German off their fecking perch.

Outside games against big six, this year they failed to win only in one game (against Luton). Hate them or not, they are not dropping points easily.

Big favourites now. Should win all their home games left so three away wins will likely be enough if they draw the other two.

Assna have the worst remaining fixtures, City can plausible win all their remaining game, Pool has the advantage.

So even if we beat Liverpool at OT, the ‘best’ case scenario from that is City capitalizing for 4th in a row, joy.

My initial reaction to this is “Not really arsed as long as it’s not the scousers”.

But assuming they do as good of a job as everybody else at replacing a successful manager, then maybe it doesn’t really matter.

The remaining schedules look kinda similar for me in terms of difficulty. City's might be the easiest one. Pool have a bunch of tricky ones as do we.

I'm surprised people are saying Man. City have the easiest run in. They find it a struggle to even score a goal never mind actually win at Spurs since the new ground opening. Dominated the FA cup match but still took until the 87th minute to score. Brighton and Palace will also likely be tight matches and their forwards have shown in the past they can hurt Man. City on the counter. Those are their next three aways and you got the Madrid two legs and FA cup SF inbetween those matches.

From the respective games last season that Man. City have left they actually dropped 7 points.

A year ago idiots were writing them off, now favourites to win the league. They won't mess it up from here.

We will beat them next week.
It's essential that we at least hold them.
If we do put in a sh!te performance and lose, then we have absolutely no right to moan when they cruise on to win it afterwards.

They have the hardest run in.

Klopp won't be pragmatic and bin the Europa. They will go hard, get injuries and drop points.

I don't care about the CL, I don't care if we finish 10th as long as we stop them from winning the title.

Not too worried about Arsenals fixtures, barring Spurs away. I guess Villa at home could be tricky too, but they'll be focusing on the conference league.

Hope so! This is probably one of their two hardest fixtures left.
Yeah i'm not seeing a really difficult run in for any of the three chasing teams. It will be silly points dropped somewhere, unexpectedly, that ruins it for two teams (people always remember our 4-4 game against Everton twelve years ago but forget we dropped points to fecking Wigan the game before- Wigan!).

One possible point in Liverpool's favor is that they could get an easier route to the EL final which, in theory, means more energy for the league.

I hope Arsenal win it. Hope we do you a big favor if we have nothing to play for on the penultimate game , feck City and Liverpool

You have won at OT once since 2006 and it was 4 years ago, Brighton away is a tricky fixture, even if they haven’t been great (yes you won 4-2 there last season, but also got trounced 0-3 at the Emirates), Chelsea at home is also a potential banana skin as they’ve performed their best against big teams this season.

City’s worst game left is definitely Spurs away, other than that it’s pretty straightforward, and the match might be meaningless to Spurs anyway when it gets rescheduled, as opposed to the NL derby.

The best scenario would obviously be Arsenal winning a title, as insufferable as many of them can be.

Choosing between City winning a 4th in a row or between Liverpool winning their 20th title is like choosing between cholera or the plague.

Utd and Liverpool both play on Thursday.
Liverpool v Sheff Utd
Chelsea v Man Utd.
Klopp will definitely make changes. I just hope Ten Haag realises the game on Sunday is much bigger than the Chelsea game and does the same,

I'm wondering in which game Arteta can afford to rotate players at all this season remaining? By that I mean players playing 80+ minutes every three days. Considering the toughness of the games coming up, including Luton who are a tough cookie.

Goalie? Nope
Been White? No
Kiwior? Maybe, with Zinchenko
Gabriel/Saliba? Nope to both
Rice? Nope
Jorgino? Yes, Partey
Odegard? Nope
Havertz? Nope
Martinelli? Nope. Watch them hamstrings lad
Saka? Nope. See above.

That's pretty much 90 minutes every game, every three days. Might risk Trossard but there's no easy game for them to step in more than 10 minutes.

Liverpool have easy EL games and Sheffield Utd, etc, to rest the likes of VvD, Konate, Bradley (TAA), Gomez, Salah, Nunez (Jota), Diaz, etc. This is the big picture.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"

Timber coming back?

I don’t think a lot of those Arsenal players above are an issue (in not having ability to drop them). Most of the back six should be fine (given way games/their games are played), Odegaard doesnt seem to have an issue with games and Trossard and Jesus not on that list.

Plenty of teams have got through end of season runs .. they just tend to reduce training schedules/intensity. Two games a week for professional athletes? Piece of p!ss

Which of the remaining Arsenal fixtures would you DARE, I mean DARE!, put Timber in for even 45 minutes? Luton? Good luck with that. :D

Jesus maybe, for Havertz. Conceded. It's about mental toughness. Cup final every three days. City have that mentality. Liverpool used to as well.

Goalie? Doesnt matter and Ramsdale is good enough.

Ben White? Tomiyasu and Cedric
Kiwior? Tomiyasu and Zinchenko
Gabriel/Saliba? Kiwior and Tomiyasu
Rice? Partey
Jorginho? Partey and Zinchenko
Odegaard? Vieira and Smith Rowe
Havertz? No other profile like him, closest is Eddie Nketiah
Martinelli? No other profile like him.
Saka? Reiss Nelson and Jesus.

Arsenal will revert back to killing games by half time again, particularly against Luton, Villa, Brighton in the coming weeks. That's been their strategy since the turn of the year. I do think that Arsenal need to choose between the CL and PL now, because the amount of minutes coming will be very difficult.

As for title favourites, I think Liverpool arent as clear as they may think. I think Fulham away, United away are big tests for Liverpool and I dont think they win those easily. Arsenal and City look better balanced defensively, and match Liverpool offsensively.

I'm not just listing players for the sake of replacements. I'm talking about your strongest XI having to go into every game. Always. Every three days. You will not be resting Been White (I can't believe you lot let that go over your heads :D ), and others. Neither do you have many games where you will be sufficient goals up by half time. It's not that stage of the season any more. Your Sheffield Utd games phase is over.

For Ten Hag, neither game is bigger. He’s operating in an extremely pressurised environment with his job in jeopardy. Both vital and he may well regard Chelsea as being a very good opportunity to get all three points.

Or... He can play the game. He knows he will win a reprieve with the fans, and therefore the board, if he loses against Chelsea by resting players but win a third cup final on the weekend with a draw. A treble the fans can really enjoy.

Another season of ETH will ensue. You don't sack your treble winning manager.

Fulham away, Everton away, West Ham away, Spurs home.

Going by form that should be a relatively easy 12 points but I think that will be their toughest run-in period. Also throwing in a potential Europa match up against Bayer. ;)

They’ve not even been at their best but at least it would go to a team that won’t be asterisked. Way more respect for them and Arsenal than the other lot.

If they match 20 you just have to hold your hands up. Maybe that’s just a sign of how desperate I am for the league to feel like a fair contest again but I’d always much rather a team with a bit more integrity wins it.

Will be no players rested by Ten Hag when he knows even first choice players are flaky. Liverpool having Sheffield United on Thursday where they will rest players is more luck for them.

No question I’d want Liverpool as a neutral, I’m slightly leaning that way even as a United fan. They just play football the right way, no matter who they face.
None of this “let’s keep 70% possession and not even attempt a slightly risky attack” bollocks.
