Best wildcard options for this week going into a BB in 37? Note that I’m top of my league but by only 15 points ahead of 2nd and around 40 ahead of 3rd..

Finally lost patience with Salah. Repeatedly captaining him since my wildcard has lost me so many points

Not having Foden about 6 weeks ago was probably one of the biggest mistakes of this season.

Doesn't beat the having Onana, Rashy and Bruno and losing 0.9m on them in the first few months though obviously.

I'll still lead my ML and I'm ready to quit the game.

Shit cnuts Salah and Darwin ruined what would have been a monstrous haul. Even if I had just done the popular transfer of Haaland to Mateta instead of going for Solanke it would have been good. Never in a million years I imagined fecking Mateta to get 5 attacking returns in 2 games.

Agreed. Mateta's usual season average is 5 attacking returns

Looking at that guy who's top scored this week with 216 points; I mean fair play to him for the monstrous haul but, dang, how do you end up triple captaining Mateta of all people.

He's probably got a few accounts or is on about 300 points for the season.
One of those berks who uses 17 transfers a week to try and stumble on a mega haul.

I told you my rival had him. Y'all should have listened.

I swear fantasy footy was more enjoyable before you had loads of online content devising strategies for people to follow.

Week 1 used to be great as you'd all have different plans before slowly merging to what is now referred to as the "template".
But now you'll start a season and the online content will have plotted you a grid of who to pick and the variations in your league will be really low.

feckin Foden has destroyed me twice this season. And I got him in before my rival did as well which makes it even more galling. Gap is feck all now and I need to take hits this week.

I genuinely don't know what to do with my transfers. I feel like keeping Salah/Saka as they could be my differentials to my rival. Ugghhh.

3 Chelsea, 3 Spurs, 3 City & 3 Newcastle are a must for me.

Still have a WC but I think I've fecked it at this stage. Any semblance of respectability is probably gone with the injuries and my rivals having Foden this week.

Any ideas on a WC to try and gain some ground?

Got Maguire in for Haaland, 119, no hits taken, no chips played. Got WC and BB left.
Lucky dastardly. I had 116, but from 10 players. How annoying to not even be able to field 11.
Obviously Captain hindsight I'd have taken Son put and then put him back in this week with 2 frees.
Gusto, Haaland and Palmer should have allowed 11 playing.

Yeah this is where I am now. Probably have no choice to keep them at least for this week. Might captain Son instead of Palmer as well. fecker is 7 points behind me after that due to Foden. Feel like a -8 was/is needed to fix Toney/Udogie and Neto first.

Isak in already and am looking at Burn and Petrovic but worried that he might lose his place to Sanchez after that battering in midweek.

At least then I can look at his wildcard and use the Salah money for the best differentials I can find for 37.

Yeah this is my plan also.

My question is:

Jackson (free) vs. Isaac (hit).

Or do something else like keep Solanke as everyone's getting rid of him and simply do Udogie to Van Der Ven.

I mean Jackson does have a double double but he is shit. Nkunku and Wison might knock minutes off both going forward as well. Tricky one that. If there was not hit then Isak no doubt but Jackson without the hit would probably tempt me more.

I was just looking at VDV but do we expect any clean sheet for Spurs this week? Would need an attacking return from him. That said it would again let me wait on someone like Trippier if he comes back and who'd be someone I doubt many would include on a wildcard.

It's more about just getting as many doublers as possible I guess. He has some attacking threat from corners but as you said, they dont keep clean sheets.

Any news on the fitness of Udogie, Palmer & Gusto? Of course 3/4 of my doublers (Son being the other) which i've had most season would show signs of injury ahead of a DGW.

Palmer is fine. Udogie is out for the season. Gusto less sure about but looked like he was training away from the group and might not be ready for the weekend. I have the same 4 as well. Very annoying and a big advantage to wildcarders.
