"He sticks his leg out... took advantage of the situation... he's bought that but it's a pen"

Insanity from the geniuses on TNT
Are you sure it’s TNT? I have it on USA Network. On my provider, YouTube TV, TNT is showing NCIS: New Orleans.

It's definitely soft, but let's not pretend it's all that unusual for it to be given. The keeper dived out feet first directly into the path of an oncoming striker and completely missed the ball.
When the keeper misses the ball VAR or no VAR he is in trouble...still wish that doesn't get called in this case because he is guilty of instigating that, but that is given more times than not.

But if the attacker can just dangle his leg wildly away form the incident, even if the keeper is nowhere near it, or hasn't even "missed" it, like this keeper didn't, he can still give a pen away.

Also, love the conspiracy theories "oh if it were united, the world would've exploded"
Yeah it's given at OT no doubt. Please understand the charged self-doubting feelings about being cheering on a giant rival. It's like pounding the parson to the one you're divorcing.

I would be livid if saka gets injured for the Euros, ref should do a better job. Overall poor officiating even with that nonsense penalty decision.

Then Joe Cole comes out at half time talking about definate penalty.
They think we're all idiots.

It's hardly "away from the incident" though, is it? It is the incident, becuase the keeper decided to slide feet first into Havertz path.

I understand the critiscm of Saka against Bayern as Saka ends up moving towards Neuer. But Havertz doesn't alter the direction of his run in any way. Could he have evaded the challenge? Yes. But it's not Havertz' job to ensure the opposition's bad decisions work out well for them.

Havertz is great today, he should have 2 or 3 assists by now.

Arsenal deserve this championship more than City. Playing some wonderful stuff again.

That was a clear dive, you’re just trying to say it isn’t.

He clearly leaves his foot grazing the floor instead of carrying a normal motion of running, a total dive from Havertz

I’m in a pub and I can see 21 TV’s from my seat. All showing the football. 2 further screens are advertising.

It’s quite impressive.

Trossard doing what I rarely see our guys do… expecting the ball to come his way so he’s already ready to react when it does.
