Just realised Murphy looks like Beaker from the muppets got fat.

Because he’s fat
No that’s not why. I identify as a fat white male too and have zero self loathing. It’s because he’s a pompous, self aggrandising, braggart cnut with zero humility.

Never been a fan of Murphy at all. In fact, always quite disliked him. But I've never hated him to the levels of some on here.

The comment was tongue in cheek. I also identify as a fat white male….just I’ve probably got a few of Murphy’s other qualities as well

Turning into a good match now, the last frame of the first day is always a big one. If Jones takes that one as well, it'd give him so much belief going into tomorrow.

Great fun last frame, like me playing my Dad at Rileys.
I worked for 5 years at a Rileys and can’t count the amount of times I was finished for the night, wanting to lock the club up….and waiting for 2 blokes to finish chasing the black round the table

That's a devastating loss for Jones, bad enough that we'll look back on it as the deciding moment in the match.

This kind of stuff is peak snooker. Two players taking turns to knock in centuries bores me to tears.

Give me high stakes shit snooker with frames that can go either way decided by whoever manages to brick it less all day long

Please no more Beavis and Butthead doing the commentary again today

Hendry and Taylor/Parrot will do

I’m not ruling out a Jak Jones comeback today. If he can win this session 5-3 or better and go into the penultimate session within 3 frames he has every chance and after being 7-0 up at one point the pressure will be steep on Wilson.

Credit to Jones for making a game of it. Could have been a humiliating scoreline but he still has a slim chance.
If he wins this frame, might not be a slim chance. You can be sure being 7 ahead and being whittled down to only 2 will start to play on Wilson's mind.

Jones is missing too many ‘easy’ shots, that miss on the black then has probably just put the final nail in his coffin.
