Will Harry Kane ever win a trophy?

Madrid with their CL luck and Kane with his curse hanging around his neck. Like a black hole meeting a supernova. Or something.

He will. I dont think he's cursed. They'll probably win the league next year or the year after.

Most probably next season, either a cup or league or both. Alonso's Leverkusen being around may make it tougher than usually but surely he'll get there. If he doesn't then there's some kind of curse because not winning a trophy with Bayern seems impossible.

I still think he's cursed from swearing on his daughters life he touched that cross.
Forgot about that  that sounded like Cristiano Ronaldo's quote.

I know it's a crazy suggestion, since Harry since seems to have taken to life in Munich, but we should give some thought to bringing him back to England. To Manchester. To Manchester United. He has every reason to say no, but if INEOS are worth their salt they just might be able to build something special.

Harry isn't going to lift a CL trophy with Bayern.

Yeah, coming to Manchester United will definitely lift his trophyless curse.

How long is Kane gonna be at Bayern? I can't imagine them going completely trophyless for several more seasons.

Also these things generally seem to end when you're good enough in a team that wins trophies. Robben was panned for being a serial bottler after losing 4 WC/CL finals, made worse by missing a penalty in the Munich final; the rest is history.

You can take the boy out of Spurs but you can't take Spurs out of the boy

Seriously though if he didn't win anything next season either I would begin to think he's actually cursed. Surely there's no way Bayern will go another Trophyless season :nervous:

Turning 31 soon, you assume he has a few more years left, but isn't signing old players, looking for a last pay day, a problem at the club?

Maybe it's time for a new approach.

I don't think Kane fit's that category. He is in dire need of a trophy, not of a paycheck. Which is different to the typical past it Real Madrid signing United make.

Did he do enough over the semi-finals?
He scored a penalty and wasted a lot of chances besides that. Honestly I think in this tie it wouldn't have made a difference if EMCM had played instead of him.

I feel the same...yet again it's the one thing missing from his CV along with the trophies.

At least the universe is now saved as it would surely have imploded in a final Kane vs Reus when it has to decide who of those two will end his bottling streak.

He looked slow to me yesterday. Though Bayerns attack was so disjointed as well.

England are the favourites for the Euros and this season isn't over yet. Its been a while since you could say International teams have more quality than any at club level...

Euros will be very competitive this year. France, Germany and Portugal all look really strong. I really doubt England win it, I am not sure the title of favourites is right, for me it's France.

We might be in with a chance of the Auto Windscreens in short order
I mean, I know we’re shit right now but this is the worst period in living memory for most United fans and yet we won a cup last year, in another cup final last year, in a cup final this year, in a European cup final a few years ago.

The chance of winning trophies here isn’t as far away as people are making out.
Of course he has more chance of winning the league at Bayern but there are still opportunities to win trophies here in England with us.

He’ll just have to settle for the euros this year anyway :D

I was thinking about a jinxed Kane vs a jinxed PSG Champions League final as well, game could have lasted 2 weeks!

He's going to win the euros
I doubt it. Because he is the leader of the team and he never comes through when you need him to. I find it hilarious that people in other threads are seriously trying to argue that freaking Kylian Mbappe is not a big game player, when Harry Kane exists, the very definition of 'not a big game player'. And it's always someone else fault. He doesn't come through with Spurs in the CL or the league in 2016 or the league Cup final, it's Spurs's fault. He doesn't come through with England in the Nations League or the Euros final or the WC semis, it's England's fault. And now Bayern have their first trophyless season since time began and it's Bayern's fault. When are we gonna ascribe some responsibility to Kane? Yes I know he scores hundreds and hundreds of goals, but it's not just the number of goals that matters. It's when and where you score them. That is where true greatness lies. Kane is undoubtedly a top player, one of the best in the world right now, but it is this demerit that stops him from being a true, all-time, worldwide great.

Kane doesn't get the beat player in the world hype that kylian gets so it's understandable why he's not critiqued as much.

Kane is supposed to be one of the best number 9s in the world while mbappe is suppose to be best the player outright.

Why would he come here for one? Also I'm really not sure it's worth it now. Will be 31 in the summer, would be a big fee, colossal wages and we have to think about the future. We've got this obsession as a club of thinking we're a player away from being good or some individual will change us but I honestly think he'd struggle to get double figures with us. We should be pushing for Tel more than him.

In response to this and the other reply, Harry has no reason whatsoever to look at United and see a project worth joining.

Who cares? Harry probably but I couldn’t give a ******* what he wins unless he played for Utd. Perhaps he should have seen out his contract but going to Bayern Munich any other year would have won him a league title and that will probably happen next year.

If Bayer win the German cup will their super cup be a rematch of the cup final or 1st vs 2nd in the league? Maybe Harry will have a chance to end the drought with a prestigious Super Cup win and lift the curse nice and early in the season.

He made his debut in that this season and lost if I recall correctly

It's first vs second in the league then. Which is still not safe for Bayern, Stuttgart is just two points behind them after beating them on the weekend with two matches to go. So it's still possible that Bayern doesn't even qualify for the Supercup

People are being too disrespectful and are forgetting ol' Hazza has won something. He, lest everyone forgets, was Millwall's Young Player of the Year 2012.

Kind of funny how such a good player can remain trophyless. But that's what you get for staying for so long at spurs. With Bayern It was only bad luck. Next season they will win something.
