So, we finished 8th.
No European football next season then?

Good finish to an awful season. Our first win at the AMEX since the 20-21 season, and our first win against Brighton since 2022.

Good performance in the second half, especially after the first set of subs.

if hojlund doesnt start the final id be very concerned. I worry the last 2 starting line ups have been a trial run

Good on them for sticking in the match and then taking advantage when Brighton started to run out of energy. Amrabat had a bit of a shocker, Hojlund is starting to look like the real deal.

A two goal margin away win with a clean sheet as rare as hens teeth this season for United.

Coming into that game Brighton had won each of their last four Premier league games against Man United a run that needed to be stopped and was thankfully stopped. Man United's PL record away to Brighton didn't make for great reading either P6 W2 L4 F8 A11 and to note the two wins was in matches played behind closed doors due to COVID-19 restrictions so today the first away win against Brighton in the PL in front of a crowd.

A lot of posters won't be happy but a good win against a team who were our bogey side. Glad Hojlund hit double figures. Subs were right with the Cup Final in mind.

United make me feel dirty. And not in a sexy way.

Glad dalot got a goal. And delighted for hojlund. 15+ goals for the season for him. And changed our entire style when he came on

Best we could have hoped for before the final. Key minutes for players, goals and clean sheet.

Not many would have predicted before the season that our league top scorer would score just 10 goals (Bruno and Højlund).

Good momentum going into City game with the last few PL games. Avoided our lowest PL points total ever too. I'd rather we not have Conference League games due to our weak squad. Europa League would be worth it. FA Cup final will be the biggest game of ETH's life

This.

Most of the players are back. Let's go win it.

We managed to preserve our negative goal difference. We conceded fewer goals than Villa, Spurs, Chelsea and Newcastle. We need to figure out how to add another 20+ league goals to our total next season.

Thank god this disaster of a season is over. 8th place and City winning 4 in a row, couldn’t get much worse.

Didn’t see the game but followed match day thread. Seemed like we were awful for the first half and okayish for the 2nd. Fair play to Hojlund for getting his 16th goal, maybe he is better off the bench as an impact player.

Just the cup final now. Don’t expect to win but we have to go in with a game plan and play the best game we have done all year to stand a chance of winning the trophy.
