Of course you need a good structure and processes to be successful. But when some of the accusations are for under the table paying off players and/or ex managers, then the true total amount of City spend would not be known. Which is why Peps recent comments were absolute rubbish.

If you have "unlimited" funds then mistakes don't matter, just add another zero to the sponsorship list and go again.
And let’s be fair, they also bought that structure and competence. It’s not just the first team they’ve sunk billions into.

Yeah they could afford to keep buying defenders until Guardiola dropped on the right ones

Everyone purring over them in the media too. Sky are a bunch of fecking wankers. Every one of them were crying about the potential of a super league and pushing the propaganda that it would kill the sport for fans.

All the while everything’s more than ok in the PL. Nobody bringing the game into disrepute here. No refs getting paid by owners of clubs in the league. Every club that breaks the rules are quickly punished with deductions.

They did mention the 115 in build up surprisingly.

it is simply head spinning that this charade is happening again to finish a season. Everybody supposed to ignore the decades long, orchestrated campaign of cheating  we will either look back from the point of view of a redeemed sport, or more likely, a sport that is completely unrecognisable, and see these recent years as an appalling episode of complacecy, conspiracy and greed, that very clearly was the death of the premier league. It is obscene that anybody is talking about anything else.

Now they’ve done the treble and completed four in a row in the space of a year, it’s time the cnuts are brought down before people lose interest in the PL or the super league shite pops up again.

Funny. I'm on a rewatch of South Park and the jokes they made about New England Patriots cheating scandal rung really true about City

Was it ever in doubt?

Pep is going to go all siege mentality, when reality they've controlled the destiny of the title race and yet again will come out top. They are conditioned to go the mile, great that Arsenal's form picked up in January but it doesn't bode well for the rest of the league to challenge.

Shame on the media and PL for facilitating this sham.

Till to this day I still refuse to believe that City revenues are higher than RM, Barcelona, BM and Man Utd.

Yeah... Thanks to the toothless UEFA and PL.

They have failed to sell out their FA Cup semi-final ticket allocations in both of the last two seasons. That's the only evidence you need that it's financially impossible that they have a larger turnover than the biggest clubs in the world.

I’ve got a confession.

I always shook my head when reading on here how you’d prefer City to win their title number x over us because “it meant nothing”.

But now I’m here, hoping City win their fourth in a row, making a complete mockery of the PL, over a proper club like Arsenal, purely because it means nothing.

Why? Liverpool and Arsenal have no rivalry between them either

115. its a far bigger number than 4.

Theres nothing else to talk about and if it isnt settled by start of new season I cant see any justification for watching, or understand how fans could do anything but boycott.

there's been a few journalists doing some chin stroking pieces about 115 charges recently, but it feels too late, considering we're now in May

It’s fake related party revenue, like Etihad who’s owned by Abu Dhabi. Their actual revenues will be nowhere near the true major clubs.
It's revenue coming in from their owners' other companies. Their main sponsor Etihad is owned by the same family.
