In a nutshell - the Dems have an outside shot of taking the Senate if the stars align. They are in great shape in AZ, NV, and TN, but are a bit shaky in FL, MO, and ND.

Russians at it again.

MO,ND, IN amd FL are very close.

If these senators stick to their state's concerns including Health Care and Social Security, they should win.

Many voters in these states split tickets, so that should help them even if they normally vote republican.

I had not seen the Arizona Governor polls. If that favours the Democrat, in the case of McCain passing away next year, it would also be a seat that goes to the Democrats.
Yes....that's another massive wildcard. It will be tough but the Dems have a shot, especially if the Mueller case picks up steam.

seems crass to want McCain to live Only until a Democrat win the governor, but it sounds like he is dying.
Its likely both events will converge around the same time. Barring a miracle, McCain doesn't have that much longer left and I would be surprised if he makes it into the new year, which is around the time the new Gov would be sworn in.

as much as I dislike his politics, he is a true war hero and we must not forget his vote against the evil Health Care vote.

Maybe not a wave, but the Dems do have a good chance of taking the House back, which would instantly make Trump a lame duck.
To be honest that probably just helps trump go ballistic on twitter constantly about the Dems and to start to build an even more toxic political environment ready for 2020... Which will probably suit him.

4 more years of president trump... Then 8 years of empress Ivanka then all hail our glorious supreme leader...the baron.

At least it makes it more difficult for him to pass more ridiculous tax cuts or such likes

Maybe you should stick to discussing Hong Kong politics because that is where you live. If you want to know why people get annoyed at you cheering for recession in the US, part of it is because you don't live in the US. You don't have skin in the game yet pretend to lecture people. It's really a repulsive attitude. Not like you get affected if there is a recession in the US.

Even if he lives in the US, hoping for a recession just so your political party can benefit is still a repulsive attitude to have, and can only come about because the person is largely insulated from its consequences, as opposed to the horde of poor people who would end up on the streets.

You think a US election won’t affect the rest of the world?

Let me assure you I have significant exposure to the US market.

A recession will happen sooner or later, I just don’t see how it’s so evil to wish it happen sooner. As Bill Maher said, recessions are survivable.

Let me know when you can explain how your views differ from von Mises, Friedman and Hayek. You are repeating Trump supporter arguments and its very revealing.

Now I’m agree with Bill Maher’s view on recession and you repeat your absurd assertion about Trump supporter.

You know perfectly well I detest the orange moron and I can only assume you’re wumming

How would I know that when you literally use the exact same "communism doesn't work" strawman to dismiss arguments the exact same way Donald, Rush and Hannity supporters do?
You literally posted almost word for word what Donald Trump supporters posted on my Facebook that I since removed. You attempted to dismiss valid arguments with fallacious references to communism in the exact same way Rush and Hannity made a career out of doing.

Lots of not very connected things will happen and the overall result will be moderate Democrat gains.

Lots of things will be written in your awful papers about how 'the left went too far' and 'the left should've been embraced'.

So your biggest issue is my equating the very extreme socialist views in the other thread with communism?

Anyway let’s not derail this thread any further.

Another strawman. You really need to improve your reading comprehension or stop trolling

You’re the one who keeps talking about supporting Trump and can’t name one single thing I have indicated that I support.

You’re the one on a WUM

You dismissed a tonne of posts with "communism doesn't work" strawman just like Trump supporters do.

Lyin' Ted Cruz suddenly wants to debate Beto O'Rourke five times . His internal polling must be showing a closer than expected race.

Form is temporary, bans are permanent.
The economy is doing well. Think Rs will keep the house. Senate will be close. Pelosi is toxic in large parts of the country. Time for her to step down. Should have stepped down after the 2016 debacle.

The Dems got to go hard. Not pussy foot on perception.

Say what they know what people need to hear.

The Truth always prevails.

I feel they will take both houses, unless they go limp in the run in.

very inspiring man.

Speaks from the heart to all hearts.

yup Lyin Ted is trouble. This may be a pick up from left field.
Beto strikes me as the sort of hybrid Dem candidate who could be successful at the national level as a Bernie VP. No Pac money, open to Medicare for all etc.

I thought Dems had a better chance of retaking Congress then Senate?
