In the final year of hia contract and Arsenal seem to be having trouble renewing.

Press bollocks suggest Utd & Chelsea are sniffing around considering either a cut price bid in January or a free next summer.

What are the cafs thoughts?

Not his biggest fan, but as a Spurs fan we could use a homegrown player with the added + of being free/cheap from Arsenal.

Never gonna happen, and he probably would want more money than it would be worth.

Would be a good fit at both Chelsea and Utd because neither has an established number 10.

Honestly think he would be incredibly productive for Utd if played as a number 10. I’d welcome the move.

I think he is over rated and don't think he would really add that much to a United team. He is another player looking for a massive payday.

I kinda respect Arsenal for not bowing down and offering him a bigger contract.

How is he a no.10 though? He plays in midfield

Was it Ramsey who had that spell where he seemed to score in about 50 games in a row?

Think he would do well in a lot of teams in this league, including us if he moved even in Jose's system as the most attacking in a midfield three. Doesn't really suit the way arsenal play in my opinion. Always looks better with the national team.

I think he is a good player, especially with his movement into the opposition box.

He's a bit injury prone and Lampard-lite, I'd rather see a more creative attacker added, someone in the Silva/De Bruyne/Eriksen mold.

I rate him. SAF faffed about trying to get him 10 years ago. Not too many seasons under his belt relatively injury free which might play into Arsenal not giving him a higher contract but at 28 there's not much wrong with getting him for free tbh.

Herrera's in a similar situation contractually, so we'd be improving bringing in Ramsey for him.

I bet he regrets choosing Arsenal over us in 2008. Personally I always liked him as a player, and would take him on a cut price or free next season. I feel he can be good player for us and upgrade on Herrera or Fellaini.

I'd have liked him years ago when we were originally interested, I'd have liked to have seen what Fergie could have done with him at that age. I don't particularly rate him at present and the fact I haven't heard any Arsenal fan rating him either doesn't particularly whet my appetite.

I’d like him here if we had the right manager in. Would be great in a midfield three with flying attackers. Get him Ed.

Always liked him, I think he would be a great addition...just needs to stay fit.

Surprised with the feedback. He's distinctly average.

I quite like Ramsey, we have enough CM options though not really a position where we need another player.

Like how often he gets in the box to make things happen but going the other way he can be lazy as feck. We have enough players that just stroll around and his attacking game would go to shit here too.

Distinctly average is getting a goal or assist every 108 minutes? I wonder wtf our players are so.
Our attackers are not world class and they're also not helped by the system. Ramsey won't solve anything.

He’s alright. Sure, he gets a goal or assist every 108 minutes but he offers very little beyond that.

Doesn’t fit our midfield at all either. Should be happy taking a pay rise at Arsenal and staying put.

Aaron Ramsey is a v good player. Would like to see him at OT. 27 years old. Give him decent sal, but don't pay massive fee. Move on Martial, Mata and buy him. He is an intelligent player and would compliment Pogs. Works hard etc.... seems like he may have fallen foul to new manager thing, which happens.

Sends a message to McTominay though.. I mean, Mourinho was enthusing over him at one stage last season. That lasted long.

He's a good player but he has zero discipline with his positioning. Needs to find a team where he can play as a #10 or in a midfield three with two players who will sit. Doubt he'll find that here.

Absolutely right about him making a mistake joining Arsenal. Wenger tried to turn him into Lampard when Fergie would have seen his limitations and turned him into an upgraded Darren Fletcher.

Hugely overrated player.

Not really. McTominay is Fellaini's ready made long term replacement
