Started an u23 game today but came off just before HT as a precaution.

Probably won't be a straight forward recovery for him.

That's a shame. He's a very good player who I think Liverpool have missed this season.

Muscle injuries are bound to happen when you've been out for so long. He'll need to play sporadically this season and get a full preseason under his belt.
